Flattering fit!
I ordered this in two sizes - 1X and 2X. I'm in between apparently. The 1X fit better at the top, but was very snug across my bottom (this dress has the bones of a bandage dress), so I ended up wearing the 2X so I'd be more comfortable. This was for my 30th bday dinner with my husband! Very flattering and I felt classy but sexy.

I had my doubts about how a bandage-style dress would fit me, but it actually was perfect! It basically smoothed out my problem areas and I got compliments on it all night. Wish I owned this one!

Perfect for Ringing in the New Year!

Beautiful/Classic Gown
I've had my eye on this dress for a while, so jumped at the chance to rent it for a Halloween formal cocktail party in an NY cemetery. I would usually wear a 16W, but this dress was snug in the hips, so I went up to the 18. I got the long length, and it was prefect with flats. I'm 5'7", so with heels it may have looked a little short. I will note this dress is VERY low cut. I had to pin up the straps a bit, and was still glad to have my faux fur stole to cover up a bit. Not for ladies who prefer not to show cleavage! Aside from that one fit issue, I got tons of compliments all night, and my husband loved it. :)

I wore these with the Kate Spade pink "book" clutch. They were a wonderful addition to the black lace dress I wore to a wedding. Only problem was that there was a scuff/dent in the one of the large center pearls. Time for a shine or to retire this pair!

Unique clutch to jazz up a black lace dress
I love the clutch; however, I was bummed to see that the plastic on the corners had been damaged, and the corners of the bag looked shabby and dirty. Time to retire the one I was sent!

I looked at the sizing for this dress before renting and went bigger since it ran rather small. I could probably have gone a size smaller, but this still fit nicely. Great elegant LBD that's jazzed up a bit with the illusion neckline and gold lace. Loved!

This is a beautiful dress. Unfortunately this designer runs small. I am usually a 14W so I order a 14W and a 16W. the 14W was MUCH too small and the 16W was very snug across my hips-to the point I wouldn't be able to sit down comfortably. Luckily was able to get a different dress overnighted that worked out. Lesson learned - double check all of the sizing on the different designers. They vary greatly and in most cases run small.

Classic elegance!
This was a dress that RTR overnighted to me because I was sent the wrong size in my original order of another dress and my backup was too small. Loved the heavy lace on this dress! I would say it runs rather small (which I'm finding out with these designers on RTR). I'm usually a 14W. I went up to the 18W because the 16W was snug in the hips. Luckily, I had a belt that went went my shoes and the clutch a rented, that helped cinch in the waist a little. Remember to check the size charts! All of the brands vary drastically with their sizing, unfortunately.

I should probably just buy it...
I rented this dress in blue last October for a wedding and decided to get it as a back-up dress for my bachelorette party in March! I got it in black, and ultimately ended up wearing it instead of the other dress I rented. This dress just fits so well! And I was comfortable in it all night long. I should probably just buy this dress - I love it so much!

Couldn't wear it - too short! :(
I really wanted to love this dress, and I did! However, I won't be able to wear this out for NYE like I planned. The dress fit perfectly, but it was WAY too short, even with tights. I'm 5'7" without heels and this dress barely covered my bottom standing still, much less moving or bending over in the slightest. This may work better with girls with less of a bottom...that may have been part of my problem...I'll still try again with RTR, because I had a great experience last time! Really bummed that I won't be as glam as I thought I would be for New Year's Eve.

This was my first Rent the Runway adventure! This dress was perfect for the glam wedding I attended.
This dress fit like a glove! It fit a little more snugly in the back than it does in the front, which has nice draping....note that this dress hugs your bottom, and does not camouflage it; however, if you have a little belly (like I do), it does a great job of hiding that. For the bust, I had to cut the tiny string that was meant to hold the deep V together and had to pin with a safety pin, but it stayed all night. I got tons of compliments on this dress! I felt glamourous all night long.
