As an NY girlie I thought this was cute but below 45 needed serious layering to keep me warm.

I would wear this dress every day forever if I could
I thought this was going to be too sexy for me (and I consider myself a person who likes to wear sexy things) but it fit SO WELL and I felt so comfortable in it! All the buckles being adjustable means it can fit a variety of body shapes - I'm a true inverted triangle with shoulders and a rib cage two sizes bigger than my hips and this dress was perfect for accommodating that. Highly recommend!

Cute but order a size or two down
I got a ton of compliments on these when I wore them to work! They're very roomy though. I typically wear a size 4 in pants and while I rented a 2 in these they would have looked a bit more professional in a size 0.

Poor fit for athletic women
Pretty dress but not for the athletic or inverted triangle body shapes, better if you're a traditional pear shape. This was massive around my hips and waist, but tight in my shoulders and on the arms, so there was no way I could wear it. For reference, I'm 5'6" and between 130 - 135lbs, with somewhat broad shoulders but large upper arms from years of sports growing up. I rented a size 6 and my measurements are about 37"/27"/36"

Faded and worn looking dress
The dress itself is darling, I've seen what the original color has looked like on other people before but clearly as it's a couple seasons old this dress has been in rotation for a long time and probably gone through hundreds of wears. The color is quite faded and the collar looks very worn and just slightly dirty at the neck. Would have loved to wear it if it was in better condition. Like with most Elizabeth & James, it runs slightly small, so I wore a 6 instead of my usual 4.

Runs large, a lot of room in the hips, would be great for true hourglass
I loved this dress overall and am going to try and rent one or two sizes down but I had a comical amount of fabric sticking out at the hips. I rented a size 4 and I'm 5'6", 130-135 and about 37-27-37, give or take. I had air pockets at my hips on both sides that could fit an apple but the top and waist were only a little loose. If you're bottom heavy and not too busty this may be for you. I'm a 32DD and this would be fine with a nubra.

Stunning
I loved this dress and so did my date. A size 6 was pretty tight and made dancing a pain by the end of the night but I looked fantastic! For the record I'm 5'6" 130.
