I LOVED this dress - wish I had bought it and now it's gone
I loved, loved loved this dress. Kept putting off buying it as it was expensive and then, poof, it was gone!! It's enornous, oversize, airy and light, and silly and ridiculous and absolutely gorgeous. I rented it a couple of times and wore it to death.

Lovely color
I loved the color on this one - gorgeous green. The fabric was nice and kinda a mix of crisp and flowy - very nice. However, the way the dress was cut down at the sides under the arms meant there was a ridiculous amount of side-boob showing unless I did the shoulder straps up really tight, which made the neck too high. Might have worked as a swimsuit cover-up. Tried it belted but that didn't really work either. Wanted to love it, but it just didn't work for me and I ended up returning it unworn

Neon orange
I should have known from the other reviews that this was going to be bright as online photos can never really show how bright an orange can be, but this one really is Neon Orange. The fit was OK, but kind of boxy in a non-fun way, and I didn't like the synthetic feel to it. Just a meh from me.

Gorgeous dress, but too tight in the chest
I tend to love Rachel Comey dresses, especially the big tent-like ones! This one would have been perfect - lovely, soft, cushiony fabric, great cut, pockets - but I just couldn't do it up (I rented the Large size)! My chest (the ribs, not the boobs) is quite large, and I couldn't even attempt to do this one up. So sad, I had to return it unworn.

Very very long
This was a nice dress, quite simple, and nice light fabric. But the fit was large and just a bit too floppy, and it was completely unwearable for me as it was sooooo long! For reference I'm 5'6", so average not short, and it was puddling on the ground round my feet. If I owned it I would hem it and it would be ok, but unfortunately this one was unwearable for me.

Lovely color
Loved these with a couple of caveats. They were quite snug around my backside and tended to 'ride up' in a slightly uncomfy way, and the material wrinkle quite easily. Other than that I liked them a lot. They were quite long for me - maybe an inch too long with flats. Nothing that a heel or some fashion tape to put them up wouldn't have fixed.

The perfect oversize boxy sweater
Something about this sweater just tipped it over the edge to perfect. Just the right amount of oversize, boxy shape. Really quality material that was substantial but not too heavy, not itching, not pilling at all. Somehow better than all the other oversize sweaters I've tried from RTR. Love everything from Co. Wish I could afford to just buy it!

Bonkers quilt dress
Loved this dress but it really is bonkers. Very cool cut with the balloon sleeves and extra seams in the skirt to make it stick out. It's padded material and really large. Definitely not sexy, but a real statement and I got a ton of compliments from the most fashionable ladies I met. Quite the statement. Loved it. Pockets too. Be aware it's BIG.

Fun colors
The colors are wonderful on this. It's kind of a heavy cotton knit, with a boxy fix. Liked it a lot, though it didn't feel super special, just normal everyday kind of sweater.

A big tent
I mean, I love a good sack-shaped dress and am all for style over cuteness, but this was too unflattering even for me. The fabric is heavy and good quality, and the cut is super interesting and unique, and I loved the pockets, but in the end this dress was just too enormous with too much fabric. If I was to try it again I might go down two or three sizes, but not sure even then it would work. The right size on a tall slim model-type could look fabulous and dramatic, but it just didn't work for me.

Fun, colorful, boxy shape but nice drape
Loved the cut and drape of this shirt. Surprisingly flattering for a big boxy shirt (it does run quite large), but in the end the yellow was just too bright and synthetic for me, and though the fabric felt quality and had a nice drape it was, again, just a bit too synthetic.

Surprisingly flattering for a boxy shape
This piece had a very boxy shape, but with the soft drape and the flattering neckline that showed off the collarbone it didn't feel shapeless. The finish is kind of satiny which was actually a bit much for daytime wear, but I wore it anyway and it was cute.

Crisp, quirky, fun
Loved this shirt. It's made in a crisp, fine, but not thin, cotton. Unique pattern and color. Kind of boxy shape which I love. Honestly I could have sized down (I'd got a larger size than I might have as that's what there was). Really fun and cute. I'm keeping this for an upcoming vacation.

Pretty design, but slightly strange and uncomfortable fit
Cute design and the details are lovely, especially the pleating around the top, but it fits really strangely. There's a lot of fabric and it kind of bags out under the bust above the waistline. The waist is also rather uncomfortable and sits in an odd place. The fabric is really nice quality, but it's heavy and that might be contributing to the puffing out. I wore it to the theater on a warm night and the puffing out looked even stranger when sitting down. Loved that it had pockets. Wanted to love it but just didn't

Tall, slim and sexy
Loved this dress - I put it on and felt like I'd grown 4" taller and lost 20lbs. Super flattering, super sexy and it somehow hid my tummy. The fabric is good quality and drapes really well. Definitely very low-cut - used tape and pasties to start but danced too much and the tape wasn't really working so peeled it off and the dress still kept me covered (in a NSFW kind of way). I wore the large size as I have a large rib cage and the tie area under the bust does not really stretch (which is a good thing). I tried the M size first and couldn't really get the dress to wrap enough. Loved, loved, loved this dress and am thinking about buying it.

A little too snug around the bust
Loved the pictures of this dress and when it arrived the colors were great, but I really wanted something flowy and the material felt quite stiff (though very lightweight, which was nice) and it was also really snug in the bust area which made for a tight feeling which was not what I was after at all. It's definitely long - I'm 5'6" and in flats it was touching the ground. Overall, loved the idea and the image, but it just didn't fit nicely and was uncomfortable.

Fabulous, quite a statement and a lot of fabric. Got tons of compliments!
I originally got the size 8 but I have a large chest (not boobs, the ribs underneath the boobs!) and there is no give in the cinched waist, which hit at the bottom of my ribcage, so it was too tight. Size 10 fit great. Absolutely loved this dress. There's a lot of fabric and it's quite a statement (someone said think Moira Rose, which sounds just right!) but it also manages to be discreetly sexy with the low back and front. Got a ton of compliments wearing it. I'd definitely rent again, but it's not an everyday dress (though I imagine this cut in a light cotton would be a super summer everyday dress) as the fabric is very high end, heavy and has a sheen. Couldn't really wear a bra under it, or at least I didn't have one that would have worked.
