I got so many compliments on this dress! It fit great and was so comfortable - perfect for a formal wedding with lots of dancing. The fabric is on the thicker side so it was great for a winter wedding but not too thick. I’m about 5’6 and wore 3” heals and it was the perfect length. After two kids, my mid section isn’t in the shape I’d like to be but this dress was flattering without being frumpy. A great dress.

I have never received so many compliments in my life! Friends, family, and complete strangers stopped me numerous times to tell me that I was "stunning". Stunning! Literally had a few people tell me that I looked like a movie star. I really wish I had more black tie events to wear this dress to because I wanted to keep it. It was so fun to dance in and so comfortable to wear. It truly was a show stopper! Ok so the details about the fit... It is definitely true to size. I am usually between a 4-6 for formal dresses and the 6R was just a little loose on me (I mean truly just a little) but only because I have a small chest (36A). I wore a black strapless black strapless bra to give me a little more oomph up top and with the addition of some fashion tap (bought on amazon) the dress didn't move all night even with some SERIOUS dancing! If you have a larger chest you'd be just fine - I just need a little help in that department. The length was perfect. I'm 5'7" and wore 2" heals. I was worried the high part in the front would be too short for a black tie wedding but it was perfect - just at my knees. The back just barely grazed the ground with 2" heals so you could even get away with 3-4" heals. The pattern on the dress is way more beautiful in person than in pictures and not too shiny (more gold than glitter) which I was worried about. It's an incredibly elegant dress. Thick fabric so it hangs beautifully but also not too hot for an outdoor wedding in Sept. in Atlanta. I wore a simple short (almost choker length) gold necklace and a fun large stud earring. Simple black strappy heals and a gold clutch. Definitely don't want to distract from the dress. I truly cannot recommend this dress enough. If you're on the fence, go for it! I actually signed up for the RTR membership because I was so nervous about only renting one dress. I ended up trying on 8 different dresses and this was BY FAR the best. It's a must rent.
