Couldn't wear because even my backup size was too small. Normally wear an 8 or 10, and I think the 12 might have fit if I had that.

I ended up wearing the large because the medium tended to ride up. I recommend sizing up if your normal size is curve-hugging already. The fabric has plenty of stretch so the large looked about the same, but didn't ride up. Wore this to my spouse's holiday party.
