I wore this dress for a date and felt truly beautiful in it! The lace is gorgeous but note it's navy and not black. The tulle and fuller skirt was a little much for my petite frame but not too crazy. If you are a taller girl, beware that it may be a litte short. It its flattering to the bust and waist, and I received so many compliments.

This was my first Herve Leger rental, and I was so excited and impressed! This dress really does act like a Spanx and stretched just beautifully with no unflattering areas. This dress is so versatile that I dressed up heels and gold jewelry for one night and then with boots and a jean jacket for another night. I wish this dress was still available to rent, as the fit and styling are just great.

I wore this dress for a party at an aquarium, so the color was perfect for the event. It's a great royal blue. The dress is deifnitely sexy but felt the cut on this particular Herve Leger was little unforgiving across the middle. I had worn the black bandage dress before and didn't have this issue despite it being the same size as this dress.

I had been eyeing this dress for a while and had to wait to rent it. I read the warnings to size up but found fit issues with both my normal size 2 and the next available size 6. Size 4 was not even an option when I tried to order my back up size. The size 2 fit great in the bust but was too tight across the mid back and rib cage. It’s an odd area for it to be too tight, as it was not the waist or hips, so may be difficult to predict whether this would work or not. My backup size 6 did fit in the back, where the 2 had been too tight, but then I was left with the bust being a little too large with straps falling down and the hips being a little too full for such a sexy dress. If you have a very small ribcage and waist area for your size, perhaps this would work. Otherwise, it was a little too high maintenance to work for me.

First of all, I love that I can find clipped earrings that are dangly and fabulous! They are pretty comfortable too for clips. I felt they were a great size, big enough to get noticed, but not too overwhelming for the dress. I paired them with a gold and aqua sheath for a benefit party, and they were perfect. I will definitely rent these again.

I decided to buy this dress on the clearance sale, as I wanted something unique and not another black formal dress. It definitely fits the bill. The design and gold accents are more lovely in person and even looked great with my fair skin tone. I usually wear a 2, but the 4 fit well, and gave me a little room in the hips for dancing. If you will be moving a lot in the dress, I would size up. The bust was a little large but fixed with wearing a push-up strapless bra, although a bra is not necessary. I know that I will stand out at my formal event with this dress.

I bought this dress on clearance, as I had been admiring it for months as a possible rental. I am very happy with it and feel it fits fairly true to size. While I love the overall styling of it and the vintage, 50's garden party type look, there were a few minor fit issues. First, the bust was a little too large despite ordering my typical size and wearing a padded strapless bra. The neckline was a little overwhelming for a petite frame. Then, the waist was not as cinched or fitted as I had hoped, so I am adding a black bow belt.
