The dress fit me perfectly. I went with the 44 as the 42 was really tight. I am normally a 4 or 6 but the 42 was way snug. I'm 5'10 and 135 lbs and had no trouble zipping, walking or moving in this dress. I received a ton of complements on it. I would definitely rent this beauty again. It's sophisticated with a bit of flair with the embroidered waist and flutter sleeve. Really a beautiful, classy dress.

I rented this for an outdoor wedding and it was perfect. It fit me like it was made for me. I received lots of compliments on the dress. I am tall and wore heels and it was the perfect length. If you are average to short height I believe this dress would drag on the ground. Oh and I felt like the bottom wrinkled a bit easily. Luckily the floral pattern hid any wrinkles in the dress.

This dress fit me perfectly like it was made for me. I'm pretty tall (5'10 and 135 lbs) and the 4L worked fine even with a 3.5 inch heel. I didn't find it to be heavy nor hot as some of the other reviewers stated. In fact the ceremony was outside and I survived the SC heat for the 20-30 minutes during the service. I received so many compliments on this gown both at the wedding and at the hotel where we stayed. People kept coming up to me to give a compliment or ask about the dress. I felt beautiful and elegant wearing this gown. It is truly a statement gown and absolutely stunning in person. The color, pattern, and cut are very flattering on a woman's body and the pockets were a plus. My husband was amused because I didn't want to take it off or send it back. You will not be disappointed with this Monique Lhuillier number.
