I only wore this once to an evening dinner at a Woman's Club. I didn't mind that it was conservative, it's one reason I chose it, but it had a couple of issues. One was that it was a bit low cut and the other is that the leading edge of the neckline on one side showed the lining underneath. I tried readjusting it but the white underside kept showing. To counter these problems, I wore a silk scarf and made it work, but I wouldn't rent this again.

Periwinkle is my favorite color which prompted me to rent this top. I am also a fan of Cleobella. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the eyelet detailing and ruffle at the collar gives it a feminine feel without being overly "sweet". It paired beautifully with white jeans and a jean jacket. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars had to do with the fit. It does fit true to size and isn't too cropped. The problem is with the button front. It gaps between each button, not because the size was too small, but rather due to the design of the buttons (loop style). I still wore it out to lunch and to a girls' night for drinks, but the button design is a definite flaw and would keep me from renting it again. Too bad because it is otherwise a beautiful top.

I wore this dress multiple times and received a multitude of compliments. I originally picked it to wear on my Santa Fe trip because the print reminded me of a Georgia O'Keefe painting. I wore it out to dinner there at the Geronimo restaurant on Canyon Road. It was a perfect choice for that event in every way. The orchid print is beautiful and vibrant without being overwhelming and the overall look feels polished, yet effortless. I especially liked the unique silhouette. The shoulders are slightly flared, while the waist is tucked and defined, flowing into an A-line skirt. Very flattering. It was feminine and elegant without being fussy. It fits true to size. I also wore this dress to a birthday celebration at a country club, and to a jazz club cocktail bar. This is a versatile (day or evening ) dress that feels special every time it comes out of the closet. If it weren't so expensive, I'd buy it.

This dress fits true to size. Note it's a bit long on someone like me who is a petite (5'4"). I wanted to wear it to a women's casual luncheon, but it had 2 big issues: 1. The top neck button was impossible for me to button by myself and I was by myself. Leaving it undone, even with my hair covering that fact wasn't an option as it made the neckline look frumpy. It definitely needs to be buttoned. 2. The neckline is high and tight around the neck which felt uncomfortable and looked a bit more "stiff/stuffy" than the look I was going for.

I loved this dress... just not on my body. Note that the material is very heavy and length was almost to the floor on my 5'4" frame. I feel that if I weighed about 10 pounds less, this dress would be a 5 star+!! At my weight of 148, I had to wear this with Spanx which helped a lot but still didn't solve the fact that I had a tummy "pooch". Also, it was more "formal" feeling than I thought and I'm not sure I even had an event to wear it to that would have called for it. Otherwise, it DOES fit true to size and going larger would not have helped my issue because the dress is a stretchy, fitted material that is meant to hug curves. For the right person and event, this dress would be a real stunner. So... in a nutshell this dress encapsulates the idea that "it's me, not you (meaning the dress) that's the problem. Sigh- story of my middle-aged life!

Fits true to size. Issue was with arm mobility. It was difficult to raise my arms higher than my shoulders due to the slight "batwing" construction of the dress. The empire waist also accentuated my bust more than I would have liked. I solved this by wearing a white jean jacket over the dress. Fit: I ordered the large based on other's comments that it was more fitted than they would have liked. I'm glad I ordered the large as the overall fit in that size was correct on me, but I am petite and have short arms, so the arm length of the large was slightly too long. The finishing on the sleeve doesn't look good cuffed, so all I could do was push them up. Still, I feel if I sized down to a medium the arms may be the right length, but the rest of the sweater would be too fitted. Hence my 4 star rating. This is a very versatile dress and a rare find to have long sleeves. The material is heavy, so it is a perfect fall/winter dress. Very flattering and easy to wear. This dress runs small and as other reviewers mentioned, the sequins under the arms are VERY scratchy. It would be tolerable to wear, but very distracting. I am usually a medium, size 8/10 and I couldn't get this dress zipped up in back. I ended up not wearing it. I would try a size up (large) but it wasn't available. Otherwise, the length is fine for 5'4" frame, the color is beautiful and you can get away with not wearing a bra. Just take note that the sequins are scratchy!

The weather was very hot and humid and this dress, due to its light cotton fabric and cap sleeves, was cool and comfortable. The blue stripe pattern was perfect for a sporting event. I also wore it to a casual outdoor picnic-themed baby shower brunch. It fits true to size and isn't too long for a petite. One fit tip: I ended up tying the belt IN BACK instead of in front which helped to give more shape to the waist and it just looked better than tying it in front. I would definitely rent this again.
