This dress is easy to wear and figure flattering. I'm typically between a 2 and a 4. I've gained weight and the 4 fit perfectly! The two would have been too small, it is short but I'm also short so it came to mid thigh. Sitting was sometimes almost a show so keep that in mind. I got a lot of compliments and was comfortable enough dance all night!

I'm really petite and I ordered a 2 and a 4; the 4 was way to big and the 2 was too big around the waist. I loved the top and the material; I should have ordered a 0, I think then it would have been great! The size 2 where the drawstring was just bunched up too much and if I loosened it, it just hung sadly around my non existent hips - and made me look like I was muffin topping all at the same time. I rented this and another dress for a girls weekend in vegas, the other dress worked out but this just wasn't cut for me. I'm short so the length of the shorts weren't a problem, but they definitely would be for someone tall - be ready for heels to glam it up! :-)

I am very petite, very close to 5ft and typically a 0 in loft and a 0 - 2 in american eagle jeans (to give you something to compare it too) The dress fit at a perfect length on me - not to short that I couldn't move and not so long that I covered everything up. I wore the xs and did feel that it was baggy around the waist - a belt made it fit better but took too much away from the effect. I got a million compliments all night long! I loved the dress - the great bonus about the bagginess was that I could eat a delicious dinner and not worry about tummy bulge. :-) You know what I'm talking about! If you are celebrating and want jaws to drop - rent this dress.

Love the color and feel of the dress. Be warned though the dress does run large. I rented it in a 4, all the other designer dresses I have been a perfect size 4. This dress was way to large as a 4. It left me looking a little shapeless and I had to wear the tank top, or I would have shown everyone my belly button and beyond. Still loved the dress!
