Had higher hopes for this dress
Maybe it's just not meant for my body type - but it was just a really awkward fit. Reviews said the ruching & stretchy material lets you customize the fit & can work for shorter frames, but I didn't experience that at all. Plus, the material felt like wearing a swimsuit & not what I was expecting, especially at the very expensive price point. Ordered two sizes down (38/US 2) and maybe a (40/US 4) would have worked better fit wise? Either way, I still would have been left disappointed overall.

Didn't love it, but didn't hate it.
Definitely runs big - I'm typically a 6 and ordered both it and a size 4, and even the 4 was still a bit big - Especially in the chest area. I'd recommend ordering at least one size down, maybe two even because it does have so much stretch to it. I was considering this for a summer wedding, and ultimately went with another dress as I just didn't love the fit of it like I thought I would. I do agree though, that ruching is very slimming for your midsection & great for those who have more curves!

The only thing that could make the dress anymore perfect is Pockets!
So happy with my decision to wear this dress for a Summer Wedding! I was receiving compliments all night long. Not only did it look good, it was comfortable too - true to size. The length was perfect (which is hard to find for shorter frames sometimes), and I loved the slight hi/low hemline so I could show off my heels. The material is little on the heavier side just as an FYI. Literally, the only thing that could have made this dress anymore perfect, would be if it had pockets!

LOVE IT!
I wore it for a work trip in NYC and got so many compliments. Super comfy and warm too -- I loved being able to walk outside in 40 degree weather sporting this very fun and fashionable liece and not having to take a bulky coat to wear instead.
