Comfortable and sexy
This dress was a perfect red for a mostly male awards banquet (everyone in black and white tuxes). It was January in NY, so long sleeves were a must. The gathering at the waist gave this dress a subtle sexy look as well. Very classy, with a touch of curve so it wasn't boring.

Felt amazing in this dress!
Wore this dress for a wedding my husband was groomsman in. It fit fantastically-- great cut and stretch material, so it was really comfortable. Perfect for an outdoor summer wedding!

Beautiful color!
I LOVED this dress! I wish I had a different opportunity to wear it, but it was just a little long for my occasion. I ended up going with a short dress so I wouldn't be stepping on this one all night with dancing. If I were going to a gala with no dancing, I would have worn it for sure.

Lovely bead work and incredibly comfortable!
I chose this dress for a 1920s themed birthday party (it was actually my back up-- the other I ordered was the Jill Jill Stuart Lovely Story gown, but didn't have the right cut for a 1920s style). The lace and beading on the overlay is quite beautiful, but the thing I loved about this dress most was how wonderfully comfortable it was! Most gowns are tight in one place or another, or have some pointy or itchy sections; this one was just perfect. It's a classy gown that's easy to wear. You don't need a lot of heel with this dress either, as the bottom is a bit shorter than most gowns, so keep that in mind when thinking about your shoe pairing. :)

Lace cover is shorter than the model picture suggests
I ordered this dress for a wedding. It was comfortable and a unique color, but I just didn't love it overall. The lace detail at the top wasn't ironed well, so it hung down in some places but not in others (making for an inconsistent decoration) It's also shorter than appears on the model picture; I'd say the lace overlay is roughly the same length as the underskirt, so I ended up sitting a bit more awkwardly in chairs than I normally do to try to accommodate the short length.

I felt like a knock out in this dress, and got compliments all night!
I got this dress for a 'James Bond' themed gala. All the other reviews sum this dress up nicely-- true fit, makes you feel sexy but classy, beautiful color, tons of compliments... and yes, a slight irritation under the arms from the sequins. As a side note, there were probably a dozen other women in gold sequin dresses at an event with 300 people, so I'm really glad I went with this lovely purple color. Loved this dress; wish I still had it in my closet!! (or at least a good picture of it from the evening!)

Beautiful dress - feels great, but straps are a little long. Seam down the front is distracting.
I ordered this dress for a 1920s themed party. It was a gamble for me because the size I wanted (2R) wasn't available for my dates, so I ordered the 0R instead. The fit was still okay for me. It was a lovely dress, and I really liked the skirt, but ultimately chose to wear my "back up" dress because I just didn't feel the neckline was appropriate for a 1920s gown (I went with the Carmen Marc Valvo Lady Lace Sequin). The only negatives: the straps were a bit long, so they didn't lay easily across the back as in the model picture; and the seam down the very front of this dress was much more obvious than I anticipated-- I found that a little distracting. The skirt was fun though, and the lace beautiful. I may have worn it all night if not for the "1920s" attempt. :)
