Wore this to the rehearsal dinner and received lots of compliments! This is a very flattering and comfortable dress. I was able to wear a regular bra. I am 5'3", and it hit right at my knee.

Wore this to a black tie wedding - lots of compliments! This dress is snug in a good way. I did not have problems with the top rolling over, but I am small busted (36B), and I did not wear any bra. This dress was super snug up top - did not budge all night. There is a hook closure under the bust as well as at the top of the zipper. You could skip hooking it under your bust if you needed a little more breathing room. It is also snug through the hips and thighs, so you have to go slow on the steps. The only reason I knocked off 1 star is that it's hot. My legs were a little sweaty all night. Going to the bathroom is a little tricky too because you have to gently slide all the material up, and then gently slide all the layers back down to keep the liner from getting twisted underneath.

I am only 5'3", but this hit mid-thigh and was too short to wear to a wedding. Also, it's a thin, tight material and doesn't have a lot of shape built into it. I think this would look best on a petite, curvy frame to give it some shape.

Although the material is not stretchy per se, there is elastic on inside of the cap sleeve at the shoulder and at the waist which make this dress very forgiving. My shape is an "inverted v," and I was happily surprised that this dress accommodated my muscular shoulders. I actually ordered the 8, anticipating a narrow shoulder, but I ended up going with the 6 because it fit in the shoulders, and the zipper down the spine lay flat. The zipper on the 8 was a little too long for me, but I am only 5'3". The side cutouts also gave the illusion that I have a waist, but in reality, my hips and waist are the same width. Even with all the cutouts, I still felt covered, which boosted my confidence wearing this dress. The fabric is very light weight, and the bottom is flowy. I felt comfortable dancing all night long, and the compliments were non-stop!
