An emerald green dress was requested for the wedding party got a Spring wedding in Topanga Canyon... alas. The wrongful color was on me, I knew it wasn't emerald buuuuut I didn't expect it to be THIS lime'y. I live for a mini dress but I was ultimately unable to wear this because it was just too clubby for a wedding. No room to move/dance. Too short and stiff. The bedazzles were really scratchy. Didn't photograph well. But would have been fun for Vegas.

I wore this for a dinner/theater night out in LA for hubs bday. It was...okaaaaaay. There was no waist situation so it just kinda hung there... would have preferred it to either cinch (perhaps some boning) or flare out. It felt flat to me. But the cut out and color were cute - especially for the Fall/Winter months. I paired it with black studded heels and a leather jacket to add a little oomph to a kind of lackluster dress.

I wore it with heels and a vintage bag to a wedding (SoCal in the Fall so floral was still the vibe) but can see myself trotting around an European vacation with a shawl draped over my shoulders and woven bag or as a bikini cover up with a floppy hat during a beach trip! So versatile! No bra needed. Could eat and drink all I wanted and tummy was hidden. Flounced and flowed all over the dance floor. Looked cute with a pink half jacket (with gold shoulder studs) when it got a little chilly at night. Compliments all night and my hubby's favorite RTR so far!

This was a gamble! I trusted RTR with my Maid of Honor dress for my best friend's wedding this August at a private estate in Malibu, CA! She requested we wear wine colored, flowy silhouettes, with floral or texture... open to interpretation but pretty specific. I went to 6 stores and ordered 4 dresses online and nothing worked! I really wanted to turn it out for her wedding but didn't want to over shadow with something too dramatic. I loved the high neck but felt the length was a little odd (looked fine with heels but I was barefoot for the grass ceremony and it was a little too long).... I wished the flowers popped more but it was overall a solid choice. I ended up belting it with a turquoise and silver belt because my vibe is more bohemian and the Bride wanted us to show case our personalities. The piping along the rib cage did not stand up on its own, which was kind of odd. So it sort of kept the shape but was pretty useless. I have smaller, perky boobs so it was fine for me but a bigger bust may have needed more sturdiness.

Wore this in Palm Springs for my best friend's Bachelorette party!!!! The theme was Garden Party Realness and it was perfect! Fit well and was structured and polished yet still breathable. The colors were vibrant and perfect for the desert vibe. The shorter part showed off that pool side tan, while the longer part in the back was perfect for twirling into the breeze! Wore this to my brother-in-law's wedding in Beavercreek, CO and absolutely loved it!!! The occasion was "Rocky Mountain Formal," which I'm not sure this qualified as but everyone loved it nonetheless :) I wore a maroon scarf, navy velvet booties, and cream collared military style/buckled with wooden claws coat with it but luckily the sun shone down on the ceremony and I was able to flaunt the dress most of the evening! I thought the sleeves might be annoying as I couldn't lift my arms all the way up... but it was fine and I could dance all night (looks good with them tucked in as well, if you need upward arm mobility, but I looooved the sheer sleeve so i kept them down).... wish I owned this one!!!

I got this as a $30 second dr as add on (LOVE that deal btw) and loved it! I was glad I wore it to the Rehearsal Dinner (my cousins wedding in CA) instead of the wedding because someone else wore it to the actual wedding - RTR; you're so popular! I'm pretty y'all (5'8) and it was a little long for my personal taste but went well with heels and an off the shoulder jacket, for a winter chic look! This dress was a maje hit for a West Coast gal at a proper New England wedding! Usually a true 6, I wanted to wear the 8 for ability to feast and bloat reasons but the boob area was ill fitted that way. I had to wear the size 8 b/c the 6 had a rip in the transparent mesh lining over the décolletage... if I had more time, I could have gone to the RTR store in Las Vegas and rented a different dress - customer service was awesome about that! I did the online chat so it was simple and easy and I didn't have to wait on the phone forever. Unfortunately, we pressed our much with time and I had to just wear the bigger dress - I don't think anyone else but me noticed it was a tad too big so it was all good. This dress was perfect for a blissful Fall day in Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles! It ran a bit small (or perhaps I've put on a few ha!) so I wore the 8 instead of the 6, which fit very well. It was short on one side but the asymmetry of the other side class'd it up a bit and allowed for lots of movement on the dance floor! The sheer top portion of the dress was super unique and added a fun element of flare! The dress is definitely magenta; although, in certain filters/lights it looks red.

I rented this dress for a friends fancy shmancy wedding in Old Saybrook, CT. Who wants to be photographed in the same outfit twice?! My fiancé and I were super late to the wedding and this was not the bride to be messed with so instead of getting ready, I hopped in the uber a hot mess. I hadn't even tried on the dress prior to 30min before the ceremony and had NO backup! And wa-la! It fit perfectly! Made me feel gussied up even when I didn't have a chance to do my hair and makeup! Was a huge hit! I'm anywhere from a 4 to an 8, so I got the 6 and 8 and the 6 fit perfectly! Beautiful open back, not too tight on my gut, long enough to be classy but short enough to dance! It was my first experience with Rent the Runway and I will absolutely use them again....6 more weddings this year before my own!
