I was stopped 7 times
I've never had so many people compliment me in my life! This dress hangs heavily, which is great for clinging in places you want and falling in places you don't. It was a bit tight in the all cuff and also falling away a bit at the shoulders. But this is a dress I would take to the tailor. Great holiday dress. Too dressy for the office, unfortunately.

I may have to buy this one in the future
As someone with a pretty well endowed chest, I get nervous about renting dresses like this because it is so dependent on how good the tailoring is. This dress, however, hit every mark it made my waist look small. The princess cut of the corset really flattered my figure while also drawing attention away from my hips after having three children. I got compliments on this at the office all day and because it is so much fabric. I also felt modest professional, but still so chic with the tailoring on this dress.

So cute!
I loved that this top was oversized and also the material that it was made with felt very organic and soft… I didn't check the label, but it honestly felt like cotton yarn, which is really difficult to find in a sweater. It was also light enough to be able to wear inside in office and be able to step outside in the heat and not feel overwhelmed.

I wish it were lined
The fit was fine, although it felt a little awkward around the hips and behind area. What I found myself wishing for was a protective layer between me and the outer fabric because the houndstooth pattern felt strange on my skin. I'm autistic and so how close feel on my body is really important to me so although I really thought they were cute and got a lot of compliments, they weren't comfortable enough for me to wear more than a couple times.
