Loved everything about this dress, from the slightly conservative print and hemline, to the figure flattering ruching in exactly the right places, to the wow neckline. Armholes were a teensy bit tight, but I also have broad shoulders and thick upper arms.

Loved this dress, perfect for Valentine's night out with hubby and friends! Got LOTS of appreciative looks and comments. As with all Herve dresses, confidence better match the bod - this isn't a dress for a shrinking violet ;-). Color was very lush and vibrant with a touch of sheen, its a bright fuchsia pink, not as shocking as 80's neon hot pink but still attention-grabbing. Fit is fabulous, very flattering, slimming and fabric is nice and thick. I didn't even bother with a bra. It's low cut but not too low - no worries about pulling an Elaine Benes! I have a short waist but the seams still hit in mostly the right spots and the bottom of the zipper didn't curl up giving me a duck tail (it happens to me when a zipper is too long). Length was good, just above knees - the conservative length was a nice balance to the overall daring of the dress. Dress was in great condition: no snags or pulls, no stains and like-new elasticity. Oh, and it wasn't too tight through underarms - I can be hypercritical about any "bra fat" showing or my upper arms looking thick. I wore it with nude patent slingbacks, nude purse and soft gold jacket. Sorry i didnt get a better picture... Happy dress shopping!

This was a back up style and I didn't end up wearing it for Valentine's Day. But my impressions are: the color was interesting, somewhere between brown and gray - mink maybe? The cut is classic Herve - very body-con, very slimming, the seaming, or "bandages" are very flattering.. I really liked the cap sleeves on the model but on my body (short torso) they didn't stay in place. Otherwise, length was good, even through body - no little duck tail from an overlong zipper :-). Overall, this is a classic Herve Leger and if you got the body for it, rock it! I personally won't rent it again, the sleeves slipping was a deal breaker. Sadly, the dress I received should probably be retired. It was very stretched out which is why I've listed it as runs large. Although i doubt that a "fresh" dress would run big... The inside seams were so stretched that they had all curled :-(.

Me, my husband, and lots of other party goers LOVED this dress on me. Beautiful rosy gold color made skin glow, sequins are really small so they lie flat and smooth, bodice is cut well with plenty of support, fishtail hem and ruching in the back make the rear view pretty amazing. I'm short through the torso but it still fit great in the waist. Cons: waaaay too long for me! I tried wearing it with 5.25" heels with 1.25" platform - dress grazed the ground - but I only lasted a couple hours. My feet hurt so bad I changed into lower heels and ended up fighting the dress the rest of the night - stepping on it, catching heel or toe in lining, etc. Top did slip a bit and I had to tug it up with some frequency but I've never found a strapless dress that I didn't have to pull up often. Also the rose gold color was a little tough to match (granted I was trying to find shoes two days before New Years Eve in Santa Barbara CA and only went to 3 stores). All in all, I would totally wear this again - I'd just hem it before event next time!

I didn't end up wearing this dress even though it has some great features. I wanted to love it but it was soooo short that didn't even look formal. I'm 5'2" and I had on 2.5" heels and it still showed my entire foot.
