So, I woke up the night morning of the wedding sick and miserable, but there was no way I wasn't going. I could not have picked a better dress for an outdoor Texas wedding while sick!! It was SO comfortable i didn't even feel like I was dressed up, but I got a ton of compliments on it all day. The fabric is light with a little stretch and so breathable. I'm so upset I didn't think to take any photos besides this one, but it just means I will be renting this again!! The only reason i considered it running a little small was because the bottom portion is quite snug around the hips and rode up quite a bit even in the 2. Nothing that couldn't be controlled though. I'm not sure it would be very appropriate for someone very tall though, as it was short on me even!

The fit was great, but I was expecting a dress capable of being worn to a ball, and it wasn't up to par with the green one. The material was light and felt a little cheap. It would be a great dress for a less formal event, but this is not a ball gown despite the gorgeous poofy skirt!

Lesson learned about balls on the last day of a Mardi Gras vacation... size up!! I'm a 00-0 in most clothing so I always go for a 0 with RTR. I opted for a long as my backup just in case I got super high heels, and boy I wish I'd gotten a 2 instead! It was snug, but we managed to get it on finally and it was so worth it! The color is gorgeous! The bottom is filled with green tulle making it feel like a true ball gown. I got numerous compliments all night long and felt like a princess! I wish I had gotten better pictures, but I was too busy having the time of my life in the perfect dress. I still wore fairly tall shoes (3.5-4"?) and the dress just gracefully brushed the ground and I never had to worry about tripping on it.

It fit ok for being a size bigger than I needed. I went with my first choice dress since it was my absolute favorite and fit perfect. My only complaint was the flat sequins were less than stunning, especially compared to the Badgley gown I wore, and they felt cheap on.

We got invited to be guests at my bosses table at a huge, very formal Texas event. I knew I needed something killer, and black. :) I felt incredible in this gown, for the most part. My only complaint was the metal bust supports were coming out of the fabric and stabbing me all night long. Between that and having to pull it and my bra up constantly, it was a bit annoying. That aside though, I don't think I could have picked a better dress for such a formal event. I wore 6 inch heels so the regular was just barely too long for my small height. I really didn't have to hold it up to walk at all, except when the sequins in the back would get stuck to my heel. :) It fit perfect in the waist and butt and was very flattering. The gathering in the back and the small train just made it that much more fabulous! As we were walking out of the event, we walked past a group of teen girls and all of them just kept whispering about how gorgeous I looked. Made the 28 year old feel pretty darn incredible!

I was bummed they didn't carry a 0, because it would have fit perfect. I usually wear a 0-2 in most things so I'd planned on getting both. It was a little baggy at the top and I was unable to find a bra that dipped low enough in front in time, so I had to go bra-less which made it worse. It is very low cut, so a regular bra won't really work so well, unless you don't mind it peeking out. As short as I am, I was very happy that 4.5 inch heels left barely any drag and I didn't have to hold it walking. My 6 inch heels kept it off the ground, but a little too much. Plan to wear Spanx, or something similar. I wore the kind that go from the bra line to the knees because any panty line or waist line would have shown through the thin fabric, and it's quite fitted from the top until the knee. My only real complaint was the zipper line didn't lay flat at all, so I had a wavy line going down my spine and sticking out just above my butt. Nothing I did would make it lay flat! May not have been an issue with a smaller size though. Definitely go with the lowest size you normally wear if you can! Overall, I loved it and want to own it, only in a 0 and and with the right bra. :)
