Didn't work for me. I have curves and the 8 didn't zip up over my bust, but even if it did, it was too loose around my hips ave mid section, so almost looked potato sack ish.

I rented this specifically for photos with my daughter and it did not disappoint! It is soft and flowy, and while not form fitting, still flattering. Sometimes you can get lost in too much fabric, but I didn't find that to be the case. It is long - the shorter option wasn't available, but it worked as this was just for pics. I wore 4/5" heals, and would have still had to carry my dress. If you are looking for it to be more fitted, definitely size down.
