I wore this to chaperone prom at the high school where I teach. I was a little concerned that the slit was too high (it seems higher in person than it appears in the photo), but because it was covered on top, it was occasion-appropriate. It has an open back but I was able to wear a regular bra with it. I'm 5'5", 120 lbs, 27" waist and 36" hips (mostly booty), and the Small fit perfectly. Sequins are both silver and gold, so I could have gone with silver or gold shoes, but the black looked good as well. Dress is heavier-weight so a little warm but not too bad, even for an indoor event in May in the Bay Area. Really loved this rental!

Wore this dress to chaperone prom at the high school where I teach. Was so sophisticated and stylish and just right for the occasion--I stood out from the young girls in a good way. :-) I did knot the dress at the waist, as I saw another reviewer did, and it helped give a bit of shape. I wore the XXS and I felt it was perfect (5'5", 120 lbs, 34AAA bra size). Undergarments are really easy with this dress. Loved it!!

This dress is incredibly beautiful and stands out among what other women will be wearing. The fit was true to size. I'm a 34AAA (yes, that's a size); with a slightly padded strapless bra I filled out the top nicely. Not sure about the proportions for larger sizes as the sleeves are fitted and there is a nip-in at the waist. You will probably need help zipping this up all the way, and the inside of the zipper rubbed my upper back a little raw, but I didn't notice until I took it off. Definitely barely-there, gold or skin-tone sandals with this one. I would love to own this dress!
