Great dress for hourglass shape!
Overall I loved the dress; cut is classic, flattering, and the neckline perfect. Felt like a starlet all night. I'm normally a 6, and the conversion to European sizing ran large. I'd order a back up dress one size down from your regular size. Mine was a little baggy in the back but not noticeable. At 5'7" the L size was perfect with 3.5" heels. Definitely recommend.

Great dress, but not for curvy hourglass shape
I loved the color and top of this dress. Neckline is very flattering and the twist hides any "trouble areas" in the mid section. However, as a woman with a true hourglass shape, I found the bottom to be cut for someone with less hips. The slit went up so high, and due to hip width, split high. It was fine for standing but walking showed my lady parts (yes that high). Perhaps ordering a long would help (I'm 5'7"). For this reason, I did not wear the dress.

My husband called it a sexy kimono
I rented this dress for my birthday and it made me feel amazing!! The skirt was great and very flattering. The length kept the dress classy with the plunging neckline. Good posture and fashion tape a must to keep the neckline from draping, as the top is quite sheer. Overall I loved this dress, just be prepared with tape

Elegant and sexy; insanely flattering on an hourglass figure
I adored this dress! It was comfortable and figure-flattering; I received compliments all night long. As a curvy lady, I was a bit nervous about the low back prohibiting a bra and Spanx. Neither were necessary! The dress is cut beautifully, accentuating curves and slimming in the right places. I haven't gone without a bra in a dress since 2004; I wore pasties but other than that I was impressed that I felt covered and secure. Great fit! I'm 5'7" and wore the 6R with three inch heels. The length was perfect at that, but I would suggest grabbing a long if your heels are any higher. I highly recommend this dress - you will feel sexy, elegant, and wonderful all night!
