Note: I'm 5'9" and wore 5 inch heels, and the 12L was the perfect length. The fabric is heavy, stretchy, drapey and forgiving. Hid what shouldn't be seen (middle) and showed off what should (legs are still in good shape). It was perfect. Give yourself time to let the dress relax before you wear it; it's so heavy that when it arrived the hangers were broken and it was in a puddle at the bottom of the bag.

Beautiful for women who are 'real sized'! VERY low cut, careful! I am a 34DD and needed to pin the front. Be aware that the front is built to look like a long over-jacket, but really the front is a panel with two overlapping side panels coming in from left and right that create very high slits on both sides - no problem at all for standing still but if you are in a breeze you will show LOTS of leg. I had to hold the front of the dress together to cover my long Spanx. :-) At 5'9" and wearing 4 inch heels, this length was perfect. This dress made me feel absolutely beautiful. Sorry no full length pics; I'm 4 inches taller than DH so most of the time I sit.

Loved it. Perfect for a woman 'of a certain age' as long as you have nice legs.
This was actually not the dress I had planned to wear, but the one I got because of the 'get another for $' deal. It was hands down my favorite! I'm too old to wear miniscule skirts. This was comfortable AND sexy. Careful of the little metal pieces, however, so they don't catch on anything.
