I had a black tie wedding in December and didn't know what to wear. This was perfect with the half sleeve so I didn't feel like I needed a scarf or pashmina in addition to the dress. It was the perfect choice. Since the neckline is high, I wore my hair up in a high bun like the model and it worked out nicely. The shift style gives you room to breathe, especially after a lot of food and drink. Someone told me I had the best dress at the wedding!

I got compliments on this dress all night. It was tight but the zig zag pattern of the lace created enough visual interest that it didn't show off every little imperfection like some tighter dresses too. The neckline was just gorgeous. The length is just a little above the knee and worked perfectly for me. I am 5'3. This is one RTR dress which I just keep waiting to see go on clearance so I can own it for good!

This dress was too tight in the waist and I had to send it back for a credit. The sequined top was very pretty, but then it pulls in with a very tight band at the waist, causing any love handles to look exaggerated. The bottom doesn't look it in the picture, but it's actually a jersey material, which isn't super forgiving. I rented the 4 and the 6, which I always have luck with, but both were too small. Even if I had gone up another size, it would have had the same effect created by the waist band. Too bad as I really wanted to love it.

Hi- I meant to order this dress in the 4 and the 6 but apparently forgot to select the 6, so I only got the 4. It was tight, but with Spanx, it worked out. I am 5'3 and 125 pounds. It was a tiny but tighter than I would have liked but the color was stunning, the neckline was flattering, and I got a ton of compliments. FYI: The line of the pleat on the front of the dress is more diagonal on a person with hips than on the model, so it actually tends to go down the middle of the dress more than off to the side.
