Very comfortable maternity jumpsuit
This was super comfortable and cute. I wore it to my baby shower and was comfy both sitting and standing. I wore with 2" heels and the length was great (I'm 5'3").

Comfortable and flattering
I rented this to wear as a bridesmaid in my sister-in-law's black tie wedding (she asked that we all get dresses in the champagne/rose gold family). I got lots of compliments and was super comfortable. Great length on me and I'm 5'3. My heels were super uncomfortable and I was able to change into flats for the reception without it dragging on the floor at all. One drawback was that the underneath layer was sticking out 2 inches or so in front, but I pinned it up and it was no problem.

Comfy and cute!
This fits true to size. Great for a casual holiday when you want to look a little dressier than pants and also plan to eat a lot. I wore with tights, ankle boots, and a leather jacket—appropriate for Yom Kippur services and loose-fitting enough for a big dinner that night.

Great fit, gorgeous colors.
I'm usually a 4 but the 6 fit perfectly so I didn't bother trying on the 4. This was great for an outdoor summer wedding, and you can wear a regular bra and whatever underwear you like with it.

Super comfortable but still wedding appropriate.
I rented this for a casual late summer outdoor wedding. I rented both the 6 and 4 ended up wearing the 4—main difference was that the neckline on the 6 gapped a bit. Like other reviewers have said, it's pretty fitted in the rib cage but I only really noticed right after I stuffed myself at dinner. I received tons of compliments and felt beautiful. Really happy with it, would rent another Free People dress in the future.

Really cute print, runs huge.
Even for a shift dress, the fit on this is pretty big. I'm typically a size 4 and I still had plenty of room in the 0. I think if you typically wear a 6 or 8, the 0 will work great for you. Though it was bigger than I would have liked, I still wore it and felt comfortable. I'm pretty petite, so if you're tall and have long legs, I think the roomy cut could be cute since it'll be more of a mini dress. The seams are kind of itchy, like other reviewers commented, but I only noticed when I first put it on, didn't bother me during the wedding. Neoprene is really thick, which was great for an early spring wedding. I definitely would have been too hot in 80 degree or hotter weather though.

Awkward cut
Super blousey up top and really tight around the hips by comparison. Both the XS and S were way too big up top, made my chest look saggy. Bummer because the fabric is really sparkly and pretty, but just a very dowdy impression when it's on. Maybe if you're very large breasted you could fill out the top better, but most of the room in the top is below the boobs... Luckily I had rented a second dress as a backup that looked great on.

Great New Year's dress
I'm usually between a size 4 and 6 in most designers. I sized up to the 6 for this dress because it's pretty slim in the waist and zips up over the rib cage. Didn't have a problem with straps falling off, but I used fashion tape so that definitely helped.

Cute top and skirt but not for me
I received this top and matching skirt as a last minute backup when my preferred size in the outfit I had initially reserved became unavailable. Compared to the skirt (I tried ordered the 4 and the 6 and while the 6 fit, it was pretty snug), I would say this top runs large. I have a good sized bust for my frame and a muscular back, and structured tops tend to be pretty tight around the shoulders. This top, however, fit great in size 4 and was really comfortable. I'm a bit too short in the torso for this outfit, however. I had hoped for an inch or so of midriff to show, like it does on the model. Instead the top overlapped with the waistband by half an inch, so the overall effect was a bit matronly. This would be lovely on someone taller or even just with a longer torso. I also tried the top with a form fitting black skirt and it looked great, despite the fact that it still wasn't as cropped on me as in the model photo. I would consider renting it for a more casual occasion to wear with a contrasting skirt.

I received this skirt and matching top as a last minute backup when my preferred size in the outfit I had initially reserved became unavailable. The skirt is pretty tight in the waist, I would have been more comfortable in an 8. The fabric is thick but breathable and it holds its shape well, it's a cute 1950s silhouette. I didn't end up wearing this but would consider renting it in a larger size for another event.

I wore this romper to my friends' courthouse ceremony in Manhattan and reception at an apartment in LIC. At the last minute, I received an email letting me know the size M I had requested became unavailable and RTR could only send the size S. I spoke to a customer service rep and she helped me select a backup outfit over the phone. I was concerned because I had rented a Yumi Kim dress a couple months earlier in both M and S and the M had fit perfectly, while the S didn't close over my bust. But the romper in size S fit great! I wish RTR had been more proactive about letting me know my preferred size had become unavailable but everything worked out in the end.

Beautiful print!
I preferred the way the SR fit in the hips but I couldn't button it over my chest! Usually my butt/hips are my limiting factor when it comes to sizing, so I would say this dress runs pretty small in the top. The silk drapes really nicely, so the MR still fit well (and I wasn't popping any buttons up top). Like other reviewers have said, there isn't a blue band at the bottom. Not a big deal but worth noting. Only one of the dresses came with the sash. Glad I had at least one to work with! I'm pretty short and I wore platform sandals that added about 4" to my height and the length of the dress was perfect. It would have been a disaster in a shoe with less height. This was my first dress by this designer, I was really happy with the quality of the fabric and the fit/construction. The print is really striking in person. I was really happy with it overall.

I felt glamorous and no one had a dress remotely similar.
I ordered both the 4R and the 2R. The 4R fit very comfortably but the 2R nipped my waist in a bit more so I chose to wear that size to the black tie spring wedding I attended. I was comfortable even after I ate an embarrassing amount of dessert. I'm only 5'2.5" so with 4" heels it still dragged slightly, but I was able to walk on flat ground without having to hold it up. The dress is the most fitted at the waist and around the shoulders and very generous in the hips. The fabric is really soft and drapes beautifully. As other reviewers have said, the colors are much brighter in person, which I loved. The shoulders are very open so I wore a bra that allowed me to cross the straps in the back so they wouldn't show and you can wear pretty much any kind of underwear on the bottom. I needed a lot of help zipping up the dress (even with the 4R), but that may be because this style is still fairly new so the zipper sticks a little. I received tons of compliments and multiple people told me I looked "stunning." Couldn't have been happier with my choice, this dress is amazing.
