This dress is very pretty but has no give whatsoever. I ended up going with the size 10 because it fit my bottom half but the top was very big. I didn't realize you will also need a low back bra with this so fyi. If I owned it I would get it tailored to shorten the shoulders as well as close up a little bit of the plunge in the front.
