This was my backup dress I ended up wearing. In person, it's way more blue than it seems in the photo. I was expecting more of a navy, but the color is cobalt. My favorite part was the back... I thought it was really beautiful. I felt a little exposed with the slits though, and that kind of thing usually doesn't bother me. Every time I sat I had to wrap the extra fabric over my legs, otherwise both of my entire legs were showing up to the top of my thigh! It was a little awkward in the church for a wedding. I wasn't crazy about the combo of the fabric (crepe) and color. I felt like I was trying out for a beauty pageant. Just not the most sophisticated combination. That said, I think the fit is very flattering.

I really wanted to like this dress, especially given the high rental price. You can't see in the photo, but it has small black pinstripes which make it a little more bronze than gold in person. While I was happy that it was less glitzy, I didn't care for the pinstripes. Also, the fit in the back is not like the photo in the model at all. Instead of fitting taught, it's very droopy in the back, in a not flattering way. I called Rent the Runway and they said that's how it fits. If that's the case, they should have photographed it on the model that way. It just wasn't flattering at all. I didn't wear it.
