This dress was actually my backup dress, but it turned out to be way better than the dress I planned to wear and the color was too good to pass up! This summer wedding was super hot -- 98 with 86% humidity and this dress disguised how sweaty I was as a bonus!! The fit was great -- a little on the snugger side in the hips, but still plenty of room. I really felt put together with this incredible pop of color!!

I rented this for a bachelorette party, but the dress was sadly too large and just didn't fall right on me, so I didn't end up wearing it. It was sold out for the weekend in the size down, so I only had one size in it to try on and definitely needed the one down. The pleating was also a little voluminous on my hips, so overall, not a great fit! Still a well constructed and beautiful dress and I totally see how it would fall well in the right size!

This dress fit like a dream. The dress I originally rented was too big and I couldn't wear it for my best friend's bachelorette party, so this was the backup dress I picked and it is the perfect party dress. The neckline is too much fun and the color to die for. It really flatters curves with internal boning and great structure! It was a little dressier than I anticipated it would be, but the material still felt light and had great movement.

I had a terrible time settling on earrings to go with my wedding dress, so about two weeks out, I saw these on RTR and rented them on a whim. They turned out to be perfect! They have a great vintage/classic vibe, catch the light really nicely and were a great size since I wasn't doing other jewelry. My mother in law hosted a very formal bridal shower for me on the east coast, so I rented this dress for that event. I am usually somewhere between a 14-18 in dresses because I am very hourglassy and I wound up wearing the 16W in this one because it fit my waist and hips. It was still really large in the bust/long from shoulder to waist on me, but nothing a couple of safety pins couldn't fix! I think if you are tall/busty, it won't feel like the fit is as large. The material has some give and good movement so it's easy to wear! I felt like the belle of the ball and the dress photographed really well in the photos that the photographer she hired captured.

So, I ordered this dress originally in a 16w and an 18w, which were both way too big proportion-wise for me. It was an easy exchange and the regular 16 fit just right! This dress is so sparkly; it was amazing for a formal nighttime cocktail wedding. It was hot outside but the dress wasn't too heavy and it was perfect for dancing!! I loved the way it felt when I spun. It caught light like magic and picked up more than just the blue in the photo, which was perfect!
