Leather Crush
You know it’s good when you walk into another clothing store and the associate compliments the jacket you’re wearing while you’re actively eyeing one of theirs. That happened to me in this coat. I was wearing the outfit pictured, and honestly the reaction made total sense. This trench is everything you’d want in a leather coat without feeling stiff or heavy. It drapes really nicely, moves well when you walk, and feels polished but still very wearable. It elevated a simple travel outfit instantly and made me feel put together without trying too hard. Definitely one of those rentals that makes you forget you’re wearing something borrowed.

When a Rental Becomes a Keeper
You know when you rent something so good it has to be yours? These Levi’s black baggy jeans were that for me. The fit is relaxed but still flattering and they sit comfortably right at the waist. The black wash is so good and easy to wear. I cuff the hem or leave them long depending on my shoes and love both looks. They’re comfortable enough for all day wear but still feel styled. I usually rent pieces for a while or re rent before buying but these didn’t even make it that far. Purchased very quickly.

An Unexpected Love
This is easily one of my favorite rentals ever. It’s sneaky in the best way, somehow wildly flattering on everyone. Check the reviews if you don’t believe me. I love finding pieces that feel unexpectedly sexy without crossing into uncomfortable, and this one absolutely nailed that. I wore it to Vegas in my late 30s and wanted something that felt “Vegas” but still very much within my own comfort zone. This dress checked every box. It comes lined, which I loved, and I wore seamless nude boyshorts underneath just to feel a little more tucked in, plus a nude bra since you can wear basically any strap situation with it. Easy, comfortable, and way more impactful than you’d expect at first glance. This is a forever recommend from me.

A Soft Entry Into the Balloon Silhouette
Rented to test the subtle balloon pant trend and loved the drape, color, and elastic hem. The zipper worked perfectly, but the covering flap didn’t lay quite right from wear which is a small detail but something I noticed. Overall still a really fun, comfy rental and an easy way to play with volume

Flattering fit and a great match to the top
The matching Rails skirt completed the look perfectly. I loved the elastic waist and the way it hugged in the right places without feeling restrictive. It’s a bit more form-fitting around the stomach, so if you prefer a looser or more forgiving fit, pair it with a relaxed top. The texture and tone matched the top beautifully, creating a cohesive and polished fall outfit.

Soft neutral with great texture
This Rails top is the perfect beige color. The texture is beautiful and gives it that cozy, elevated feel. It is a bit scratchy, but wearing an undershirt makes it totally fine. I do wish the collar was either a full turtleneck or a crew since the mini mock neck felt a little in-between, but it still looked great styled. It’s warm and ideal for the cooler side of the season

Classic heritage piece with fall energy
This Polo Ralph Lauren blazer made my fall heart happy. I happened to rent it during New York Fashion Week, and it gave me so much life and joy to wear. Leaning into American denim (Levi’s jeans and a Wrangler top) and pairing it with this timeless blazer felt like the perfect cherry on top. The fit was structured but easy to layer, exactly what I want in a heritage piece like this.

Textured layering hero for unpredictable weather
A.P.C. rarely gets it wrong. In San Francisco, when the weather throws you curveballs (and it frequently does), you need something that can handle it. A textured vest fits the bill. This one was such a fun piece to wear. I styled it in all kinds of real-life ways: picking up my kids in not quite sweatpants, layering it over an elevated midi for a bit more warmth, or throwing it on with jeans and a tee when a puffer vest felt too heavy. It also worked beautifully over a button-down or a dress with tights. So many options. Loved this rental.

Playful plaid with an easy fit
This dress is fun. I loved the plaid and the length, and it’s such an easy piece to style. The fit runs a little bigger than expected, but that made it great for layering. I used a scarf as a belt along with the attached tie, which helped define the waist and added a little extra color.

The Trench That Became Mine
What can I say — I loved this coat so much I made it a staple and bought it. If you get the chance to rent this baby, do it. I rented it for months, styled it countless ways, even traveled internationally with it before finally deciding it needed to stay in my closet. I love a basic trench, but this one is anything but basic. The denim detail turns it into a neutral-with-an-edge piece that somehow works with everything. It’s the perfect San Francisco coat — not too heavy, not too light, and guaranteed to get compliments every single time I wear it. Dress it up, dress it down — it always delivers. Don’t sleep on this one. This trench passes the vibe check — permanently.

A Fresh Spin on the East-West Bag
I rented this Yuzefi bag because I wanted a fresh take on the east-west silhouette. Something small, but big enough to hold my phone and lip gloss for a date night — and in a burgundy/plum tone to cut through my neutrals. This bag delivered. The structured shape and clever closure felt sleek yet easy, and the color added just the right pop without overwhelming. It’s simple, modern, and surprisingly versatile. A rental win that gave me the designer feel without the long-term commitment.

Proenza Schouler on RtR — Worth the Hype
I’m thrilled that RTR carries Proenza Schouler — especially now as Rachel Scott is making waves as their new creative director. This dress was such a fun rental for a “Mobwives” dinner with friends at a fundraiser. A regret: not taking more photos. A non-regret: having too much fun to care. The dress itself was long, fluid, and felt amazing on my skin. The pattern was bold without being over the top. At 5’3", it ran extra long (although I chose to wear low heels), but still totally wearable. There’s a funky bit of excess fabric below the bust that I wasn’t in love with, but it didn’t ruin the look. Ultimately, this piece checked all the boxes, passed the vibe check, and made me feel like I was wearing a true statement designer. This is why I rent. ✨

Surprisingly Easy to Style
This skirt fit true to size and was comfortable for all-day wear. The color is unique but surprisingly versatile — I styled it with denim and black to keep it grounded. This dress is a true classic
I purposely rented it for a spring vacation knowing I could style it a million different ways and it absolutely delivered. I wore a tee layered over it, a sweater on top, on its own, with a trench, with sneakers, with sandals…the possibilities were endless. I took it with me to Japan in early 2025 and did a little research ahead of time since layered dresses were trending there that season. Planned accordingly and it paid off. I originally ordered a 2, but it ran a bit roomy so I swapped for an 0 for the perfect fit. One of those rentals that earns its suitcase space every single time.

Cozy Classic – Deep Blue Knit
I loved this sweater. I wore it under brown corduroy overalls (wish I had more pics of that look!) and also dressed it up with denim. It paired perfectly with plaid too for a rugged-but-polished vibe. Incredibly warm and cozy, with buttons that make styling easy. The deep blue color is such a love — it feels timeless and versatile.

Playful Stripes with Endless Potential
This dress was such a fun piece, even if I didn’t wear it as often as I thought I would. The fabric was a little sheer, so I paired it with nude undergarments and styled it casually with a men’s yellow button-down, a baseball cap, and sandals. That made it easy and relaxed for everyday, but it also had the versatility to be dressed up or even styled with a beach vibe. A piece full of potential.

Glamping-Approved & Stylish Too
These overalls were exactly what I was hoping for—practical enough for a weekend outdoors, but with just the right amount of style. With a backdrop as stunning (and casual) as nature, finding rentals that fit that glamping-outdoors-but-make-it-cute category can be tricky—but these nailed it. The corduroy texture gave them warmth and character, and the relaxed fit made layering super easy. I wore them with a yellow tank and a scarf-wrapped cap during the day, then added a sweater and jacket once the temps dropped. Sandals worked for lounging and easy on-off, and they held up just as well with hiking boots when the trail called. A rental win for anyone who wants comfort without sacrificing personal style. 🏕 Styled for the trees by @the.nay.edits

A Good One—But Not The One
This leather jacket checked a lot of boxes: cropped, well-made, and buttery soft against the skin. It layered beautifully and definitely elevated my look. That said, it didn’t totally knock my socks off—but to be fair, it was a stand-in while I’m still hunting for the one. The pockets are placed a bit awkwardly, which made it less functional day-to-day, but as a styling piece, it absolutely worked. A solid pick if you're looking for structure, softness, and a cropped cut without going full moto. 🖤 Styled by @the.nay.edits

Not Just a Cover-Up
Renting means thinking outside the box—and this Onia piece was no exception. The moment I saw it, I knew I didn’t want to save it for the pool. Instead, I layered it over jeans and used it as a sheer, textural statement piece. Summer in San Francisco tends to be chilly, so dresses often need a little creative styling to stay wearable. This cover-up was perfect for that, but one note: it doesn’t offer much width at the hem, so walking freely meant hiking it up slightly or styling it into my waistband to adjust the length. Both options worked and gave it even more styling potential. Loved how many directions this could go—definitely a renter’s dream if you’re up for playing with shape and layering. 🪡 Styled for foggy summer by @the.nay.edits

Cape Blazer Energy 🔥
This one was pure fun. I ended up wearing it three times—Mother’s Day at church, dinner with friends, and a little getaway with my partner. Even though the color is bold, I didn’t shy away from it. I leaned in with striped pants and a sequin bralette for this look, and styled it more casually with denim another time like RTR suggested. The looser fit gave it a relaxed feel, and the cape cut made it stand out without feeling over the top. It’s definitely better suited for warmer weather since layering underneath is a bit tricky, but it was worth every wear. More looks → @the.nay.edits

The Cream Blazer That’s Actually Built for Warm Weather
Wore this one on a warm SF day, and it didn’t overheat or wrinkle into oblivion (major wins). The relaxed cut keeps it from feeling too “office-y,” but it still pulls a look together effortlessly. • Layered over satin & lace? Yes. • Thrown on with cargo denim & boots? Absolutely. • Sipped wine in it? Obviously. More looks → @the.nay.edits

I absolutely loved this jacket! The fit was perfect for a more tailored look, but in hindsight, I wish I had sized up for that oversized feel. Leather Set or Style Struggle?
This rented leather “shacket” had me thinking. I envisioned a sleek, versatile set—casual with a tee, elevated with a sparkly bustier, or buttoned down. But the full set? A challenge. I found myself tucking it into different pants, making it work but never loving it. The oversized fit, snap buttons, and pockets were a plus, and the color? Fab. The matching paper bag waist pants? A little trickier with the belt situation. Renting lets me experiment without commitment, and this one was a learning moment. Would you style it differently? The Perfect Balance of Structure and Ease
These jeans are the perfect balance of structure and ease. The denim has a softness that makes them easy to wear all day, but enough hold to keep their shape.
