Runs a little small, but managed to squeeze into a 4 without shape wear. Did not need a bra, though I needed help with the zipper. Once worn, it was comfy enough to spend 8 hours in for a gala that I was working at. If you have very sensitive skin, you might find the sequins at the neck a bit scratchy. Goes just a touch below knees, which is great for a formal affair. I accessorized with just long earrings, saves the trouble of looking for a necklace.
