I typically vary between a 2, 4, or 6 depending on the fit or stretch of a dress. I am 5'4'' and wore the 4R with 6-inch wedges and the bottom of the dress barely kissed the ground (it was the perfect length)! The color was gorgeous and the way the skirt flowed and swished and looked when walking or in the wind or dancing was absolutely beautiful. The only issue I had was that the top kept falling down and I would randomly look down and see my strapless bra peeking out. I constantly had to pull it up... I am a 32C, so my boobs aren't small, so I thought I'd be able to keep the dress up, but perhaps my boobs were too big for it that it kept pushing it down? Either way, the top was really annoying to keep needing to adjust as it kept slipping. The 6R would have been way too big... sooo I don't know what would have helped. The dress overall was beautiful and I introduced a number of girlfriends to RTR because of all the compliments.

i wore this to a night on broadway, around times square, dinner, and rockefeller center. even with all the billboards and christmas lights, i was the shiniest thing around. such a fun dress! although the XS fit perfectly, i ended up wearing the larger because it seems like a dress that should've been looser… but i think the fit was still a little blah. but, still loved how sparkly it was, especially for NYC.

I wore this dress to a wedding in Napa. The colours are so much more vibrant and airy/light than in the images. I loved the amount of fabric on this dress… but you have to be careful standing up/walking up steps/etc as it is VERY LONG. I am 5'4'' and got the R size… and I wore 6-inch wedges… which would make me 5'10'' with shoes. Even with the extra height, the dress kissed the ground and I'd accidentally step on it if I wasn't conscious about it. I also ended up sizing up because the armpit/boob area was a little tight. My normal size fit fine, but it wasn't comfortable. Also, if you're not happy with your arms (which I'm not), it totally gives you fat-arm in photos. But in person, it is absolutely stunning and perfect!

I wore this dress to a day-after-wedding-family-brunch. It fit perfectly and the shape of the dress was very flattering (as you can see, with heels, it almost gave me a long-legged ballerina effect). The brunch was rather short, but I received more compliments in those couple hours than I ever had at any other event. I love this dress and hope to own it someday!

I wore this to a fundraising gala filled with VIPs and entertainment legends—the dress code was "festive cocktail." As I had to work the entire night (yet still be able to mingle and fit in with the guests), this dress was the perfect choice. The blue is actually more vibrant/blue in person. The pockets were amazing—they fit everything I needed for the night, and even with a giant phone in the pocket, you couldn't make out any shapes. The only reason why I marked it down a star is that you can tell it's quite worn—the sleeves/lining were ripped on the inside, so it didn't line up the sleeves that well. Also, there is absolutely no give—it's not stretchy, but that's OK if you order the right size!

I rented this dress for a wedding but I goofed on the shipping dates and didn't get it in time. I called RTR and they graciously overnighted a backup dress to me directly at the hotel, which was AWESOME. Unfortunately, the 4R didn't fit—we couldn't even get it to clasp and it only zipped up half way. I'm between a 2 and 4 (and a 32C), but there was NO GIVE on the bust area of the dress. I would definitely try to rent this again but size up! When I talk to RTR about this, they credited me for the dress. Talk about AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Love you guys!

The color is amazing—it's definitely more neon yellow (and gets even brighter in the sun)! Definitely eye catching... I paired it with a sharp blue statement necklace, earrings, and 5-inch heels. I was originally worried that the size 2 would be too tight, but it fit perfectly and hugged my curves. Over the day, however, it does feel that it gets stretched out a little so it starts to hang loose, which isn't terrible. The only thing that I would say I didn't expect from (and wasn't thrilled about) is that the dress is really SHORT. I am totally OK with short dresses, but not for a graduation/engagement party. From the images and reviews, I didn't expect it to be THIS short (it didn't even reach mid-thigh)! I thought it looked short on the model in the image because of her height, but no—it really is THAT SHORT. I was constantly tugging at for length whenever I sat down or stood up. The first things everyone noticed when I walked out was how short it was. I tried the size up, but it looked like it hit the same point on my thigh (the only difference was the size up was looser). However, it was still a beautiful dress and I got a ton of compliments on it (and even converted a number of girls to Rent the Runway)! THANKS RTR! :)
