The color and pattern were really fun. The hi-low hemline was a favorite, but there was a lot of fabric in general, that was kind of billowy and kind of tent-like. I wear a 6 or 8, wore the 6 and probably would have sized down although I wonder if a smaller size would have had a shorter hemline. I am 5'3 and the length was perfect on me. It was a humid, hot August wedding so I didn't hate how roomy the dress was but from some angles, the dress looked too big.

This was a back-up dress after a Slate and Willow (size 8) felt tight on my hips/stomach. The medium is sized at 6/8 - it was huge. I felt like I was wearing the most shapeless dress ever, it was terribly unflattering. Color was beautiful, sleeves were really fun, I highly recommend sizing down. I have worn 6-8 in many RtR dresses.

Absolutely loved this dress. Overall it was a mix of true to size and runs small. It was a little tight in the waist but I ultimately did not end up wearing it because it was so so short. Dresses that are short usually fit perfectly but I was renting for my bridal shower and the length was just an inch below my butt. I would recommend sizing up.

It took three tries to get the sizing right - as a shift dress I ordered a 6 which I can usually wear for this style dress but the inside liner was so so tight around my chest, I looked completely squashed (36C). The waist and length were great however. The lining on a size 8 was still way too tight (the dress material is stretchy but the liner is not), and finally a size 10 fit. It was roomy in the waist but the length was alright and overall didn't look too big. That being said, I loved this dress! The color was great and the side ruffle spiced it up nicely.

Length was perfect on my short frame, hit above the knee but not as short as the product image. Sequins were little scratchy under the arm, and the sequins definitely added a sheen/shine that I wasn't expecting. I wore it regardless of my hesitation that I would look too shiny and received a lot of compliments. I normally wear an 8 and sized up because I wasn't getting a back-up and was glad for the 10, the 8 would have been too tight.

Loved this dress! The color and patterns do not disappoint and the cape was not at all overpowering. It did run small, normally I wear a six, and I usually size up for this designer but I almost think I would have preferred a 10 - the waist was soo tight around my rib cage (with and without shapewear), although I usually have this problem with dresses that are cut around the ribcage, I just wasn't expecting this dress to not have any give. That being said, the length was perfect, hit above my knees and I got quite a few compliments.

Wore for a wedding in late October - soooo happy to have a dress with sleeves. It was a nice dress, but overall not my favorite rental. The length was great on both the small and medium (I'm 5'3) and it hit about mid-thigh on the small. I'm wearing the medium in the picture. I didn't like the knot in the front of the dress, and the back zipper didn't lay flat in either size I wore - it was all bunchy, even though the dress fit great in both sizes. Material was great for dancing (and eating) and the gold accent was a nice touch. If you are like me and seem to always be in-between sizes, this dress is a go-to.

I rented the 44 and 46; I'm normally a true 6, but was worried the 42 might be a little small and went with a larger back-up size. The 46 was very baggy, and maybe two inches longer than the 44. It went past my knee, and the neck line was very loose. The 44 fit beautifully, it hugged my curves really well, and the hemline was an inch above my knee. The neck line was still a bit loose, and the arms were a bit tight as others have mentioned but, everything else seemed true to size. Unfortunately the zipper was stuck, and I was unable to wear the dress from the event, but I am extremely impressed with RTR customer service and will definitely rent again!
