I usually don't wear greys/silvers but the pops of yellow/pink on this really tone down the cool tones here. I wore silicone nipple covers as a bra would not have worked. The size 6 fit great, the size 8 was too big for my chest. This was very flattering and I loved the way it felt.

Wow this dress was so beautiful. The color is vibrant and the material feels silky and of good quality. I needed a safety pin to pin the bust together, otherwise it would've gaped. I am a 34D but to be honest I have a hard time imagining how the bust *wouldn't* gape. The slit also does come up quite high so I had to continue pulling it down, especially if trying to lift my hands above my head (difficult). Otherwise got compliments all night on this, the fit is very flattering, and would definitely rent again.

Rented this dress for an outdoor wedding. A previous review said to size down as the fabric stretches over time - I wore a size 4 around for a bit but it did not stretch out for me. I'm a size 34D and the size 6 fit comfortably. The straps are interesting and not necessarily what I would've expected - they feel like thick shoelaces and you should make sure they're tied securely or they may come loose. I tried to cross them in the front at first for a more interesting look, but it ended up wrinkling the fabric so I crossed them in the back and that was a nice added detail. The fabric is fun but does feel slightly outdoor gear-y. The wedding was quite chilly outside but this dress runs *warm* due to the fabric. However, due to the fabric, it doesn't feel as formal as I was worried it would. Definitely a parachute silhouette/very flowy and not formfitting, but that's what I was looking for. All in all a really great, fun dress if you can handle the fabric and straps - probably wouldn't buy, but may rent again.

Loved the idea of this dress and it fit almost perfectly in a size S. It was a little tricky to get on but by following the photo I was able to get it (the drawstring should make a half circle so I had to flip the top around a few times to get the orientation right). The bottom part of the dress sat just a little low on the waist for my personal preference and it meant I couldn't wear my usual underwear with the rise. But ultimately very secure, flowy, fun to dance in, lots of compliments! I wear a 34D and I thought the top of the S fit JUST right - maybe a little snug but the M was way too large in the bust.

Overall I really enjoyed this dress. I agree that it wrinkles easily in the front over the thigh area. The slit is there but not too high or revealing at all, and it helps the skirt not feel too restricted. The shoulders sometimes slipped a little but not too much. The material feels heavy but not too hot for this summer wedding, and the dress drapes in a very flattering way. Ultimately probably more my personal style but at times I just felt like it was very close to a bridesmaid dress (it was not the color of the wedding party, fwiw).

I've been eyeing this rental for a long time and finally decided to get for a spring wedding. Looks really nice in person. Very flattering at the waist but I will note that there didn't seem to be much of a difference in sizing, aka 4 and 6 fit pretty much the same at the ribcage and a little snug. For this reason I ended up with a size 6 and I'd say the dress hit at a tea length. The straps are adjustable but for some reason (maybe the snug ribcage level band?) They kept feeling like they'd slip off. The bust offered moderate support but because of the straps I was afraid it would slip off all night. I'm a 34D and maybe you just need to be a slightly smaller cup size or a smaller ribcage to fully feel comfortable in this dress. That said the material is really comfy and the skirt moves nicely. I also loved how it looked!

Wore this dress to a winter wedding and it kept me pretty warm. The proportions are just slightly off - I felt like the waist was super tight on both the 4 and the 6 (aka, not much different - for reference I usually wear a size 6/28 in pants) and the bust was a little too wide and felt like the shoulders were going to slip off if I didn't keep re-adjusting it, on both the 4 and the 6. I still loved the way it looked and maybe some fashion tape would've fixed this issue, but it's not something I own or anticipate having to use. Otherwise the color is beautiful, the material is great.

Note: TTS for US sizing!! I wore a UK 10 which is a US 6. I was originally hesitant about this dress - I've never worn this bright of a yellow (more of a mustard gal), or this style of dress with the sleeve. The reviews are so positive so I took a chance. Someone at the wedding came up to me and said that he designs dresses for a living and this was the best dress he had ever seen - whispered "buy it for her" to my partner at the end of the event. I felt amazing in this dress and also not too tight to dance in. My only hesitation for a cocktail attire wedding is that with the bright colors in a more muted setting (e.g. not in an outdoor garden, in the summer), it might stand out too much. Would definitely rent again.

I was originally hesitant about the ruffles on this dress - it seems to overwhelm the model on the top half, but I was 2 weeks out from a wedding so couldn't be picky. I was also worried that the dress would hit awkwardly low as I'm fairly short (5'4). I was pleasantly surprised on both fronts - the ruffles look MUCH better on folks who wear sizes larger than the model (this is also true in the other photos I looked through of this dress) as it's more in proportion. I think you'd have to wear heels if you're my height, but the length was nice in the end. The color is beautiful and very vivid, and the fabric drapes and doesn't wrinkle. I didn't iron/steam at all and this dress was stuffed in a suitcase and flown across the country. The two things I will point out is that there is a not-forgiving cinch that sits higher on the waist. This makes it really flattering, but also can be uncomfortable when sitting/after eating, especially as I was more in between a 4 and a 6 (I didn't end up trying the 6 on as the 4 fit nicely otherwise). Also, the bottom set of ruffles can restrict your arm movement - but on the dancefloor you can just slip them out of those and have more movement, and no one's watching anyways. Got compliments from friends and strangers again. Bottom line - wasn't expecting to love this dress so much, would actually rent again!

Wore this to a party where the dress theme was leopard print. Usually these kinds of fits are hit or miss on me (the thin straps, as I have larger shoulders and arms combined with a larger bust size; the midi length, since I'm just under 5'4"). However, this dress fit and felt great! I ordered both a S and M but ended up wearing the S - the M hit like a maxi and I actually liked the midi length better. The bust fit nicely and it didn't look like it was too small in the chest as these styles sometimes do, and the straps didn't dig into my shoulders. It was easy to move around in and didn't feel constricting at all. Also loved the colors!
