It was a fun wedding for two good friends
I was about 12 weeks pregnant, and just looking and feeling really bloated. This dress was cute, loose but didn't make me look super pregnant!

Cinco de Mayo Wedding!
The dress was a bit too large on top. I am pretty evenly proportioned, but my booty is definitely bigger, so I had to wear the 8. As a result, the top was a little bit loose and slid down a bit, but overall a festive, bright dress!

Have rented another skirt and top combo before from a different designer and loved. Wanted the same look, but this skirt looked awful on me. I have wide hips and it just seemed to accentuate them. The top fit, but no reason to wear it alone!

Great cleavage! (If you're in to that!) It is a thick material so you can totally get away with wearing it in the winter. Flared skirt made it tight on top and fun on the bottom.

Shimmer like Gatsby!
This dress runs very large. I read the other reviews so I expected that, but knowing how large, I might have ordered 2 sizes down. I am normally between a 6 and a 4 so I ordered the 4 for my backup and wore it, but it was still a big baggy and long. It was lovely for a Gatsby party with all the sequins! The pictures don't show the waistband too well, but there is one--it's meant to sort of create a bubble of fabric around your middle--not a look I would go for unless in theme. I pulled the waistband down for a 20's dropped-waist effect and it was perfect!

The sparkle at my surprise birthday party was so special!
This dress was fabulous. It's a little bit stretchy so it hugs the curves, but the sequins add some texture so if you want to hide anything it gets hidden. It was perfect for a surprise birthday party and a dinner date! I think you could probably tuck the straps and wear it strapless if you wanted. I wore a strapless bra, but if you are smaller up top, you could probably get away with nothing underneath. LOVED it!

Three different girls that I didn't know came up to me and said "that's a GREAT dress!"
I wore this dress to a party with some old friends from high school and my boyfriend at a country club in NYC. It was stretchy on the inside, so it was wonderful to dance in. It was the perfect length on me (a little longer than on the model) and it was so much fun to be in sequens all night. The sequens scratched me a little bit on the back, but I'd say it was worth it.

My boyfriend said I looked "gorgeous" about 10 times--that was the best thing I could ever hear!
I wore this for my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. The material was stretchy, so I wore the smaller size and didn't find it to be too tight. I ordered the 10 as my back up size, but didn't even try it on. When he came to pick me up from my apartment, the look on his face was worth every penny! I felt beautiful and he definitely liked it!

Everyone kept asking where the dress was from. Every time my boyfriend sees pictures from my birthday party he sighs, smiles and tells me again how beautiful I looked.
I rented this to wear on a birthday date with my long distance boyfriend. He surprised me by inviting my 20 closest friends that I haven't seen in a few years. I belted it with a skinny gold belt--I knew I looked great when he walked in the door and couldn't stop telling me how beautiful I looked. When I saw all my friends at the party they were floored and kept talking about how beautiful the dress was! Wore it with the Lee Angel Liliana Earrings and while it was a lot of sparkle, it was the perfect look with my hair up! Love love love this dress.

I LOVED wearing this dress. It was perfect for a brunch the day following a wedding. I have olivey skin and was a little tan, so the coral and white looked great against that. I wore my own turquoise stone earrings and they popped against the bright colors. My boyfriend and several people said it was great. I wore the 10 because I wanted to loose on my hips. The top was a little looser than I would have liked, but I didn't have any problems keeping it up.

I wore the medium. Generally, I stay away from dresses cut like this becaue the elastic makes my hips look even bigger than they already are, but this one hit perfectly. I wore it to a college football game and it was JUST long enough tomwear in a stadium.

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding in the afternoon. It was a great length for me--I ordered the regular one--with kitten heels. I wore the 10 because I have a big butt and the 8 was just a little tighter than I was comfortable with back there. Since the material is stretchy, the top wasn't too big even in the bigger size.

This was such a beautiful dress! It fit a little tighter around my lower body and a little bit looser around my stomach. I think it would probably be best on someone with a straight (not curvy) body type, but I really enjoyed wearing it!

Meet the Parents!
I had to meet my boyfriend's dad for the 2nd time and attend a series of holiday parties in DC. It fit me almost perfectly--I think for the true bandage effect I should have ordered a M, but for a slightly more conservative fit, I went a size up. It gave me a still tight, but not body hugging fit, especially around the waist, which was perfect for a more conservative event. LOVED wearing this dress, and my boyfriend threatened to buy it for me because he thought it looked so good.
