I had a hard time figuring out what to rate this dress because the dress itself is GORGEOUS, it just doesn't work with my body type. This is great for someone on the slimmer side but my personal style really relies on emphasizing my waist (which I felt this didn't do, I thought the waist portion would cinch in more) and my legs (this DID do that though!). I also have shoulders on the broader side so the shape of the dress really emphasized that. Finally, not being able to wear a bra with it made me look like a chunky square mess. That being said, this dress is beautiful, high quality, and came to me in great condition. It is just as gorgeous as it looks in the pictures with a beautiful, shimmery lace overlay. I had been worried it would be too short (I'm quite tall) and I actually felt like it was long enough to be appropriate so other tall ladies could give this a shot (good party length, not so much for anything that involves being in a church...)! I had been planning to wear this dress with the Ben-Amun Cascading Pearl Necklace because it would have looked AMAZING to have the pearls cascading down my bare back. Alas, twas not to be but maybe one of you lovely ladies could give it a shot and I'll live vicariously through your pics :) As always, the RTR service is amazing and I'm currently in the process of getting another dress sent my way. Honestly, no complaints.

I rented this dress to go out for my birthday but ended up not wearing it. To be fair, this one is my fault, I have to admit. I'm 6 ft tall and I read the reviews saying that this is a short dress but I rented it anyway. I actually have very few qualms with wearing short dresses (love showing off some leg!) but this was closer to a shirt on me. Even worse, I didn't take into account the opening at the front which would have made my underwear choice very obvious to the casual observer. Even if the dress had been long enough, it also wasn't flattering to my shape. I'm a little bit curvy so I like dresses that accentuate my smaller waist. I thought the cinching on this would do that but it just... wasn't right. It didn't cinch in as far as it should have and I ended up looking much wider than I am. Finally, I found a small issue on the front of the dress where the sequins had detached a bit. I think this is a beautiful dress on the right person: shorter than me and maybe a bit less curvy. Luckily, RTR's customer service is out of this world fantastic! Their lovely stylist, Madison, sent me a list of other dresses in stock that she thought I would like and overnighted my top two choices, all free of charge. I felt gorgeous in the dress she helped me pick out and am a very happy customer. Go RTR!

I liked the style, they added oomph without looking fake or cheesy. I also liked that they arrived with my dress that I rented so it was one less thing for me to go out and buy. The price is definitely reasonable and comparable to what you would pay at a store. My only complaint is that one started falling off at the ended up the night. To be fair, it could be due to my questionable application abilities. Plus, I wore it to an event with a lot of dancing so I really put them to the test.

I bought the pro membership when I got my first rental and I'm so happy I did! It has already paid for itself multiple times over after 2 rentals. I rented this dress for my birthday party but ended up not wearing it and using another backup dress. I should start with saying that the navy color is lovely, the detailing on the skirt is beautiful and I really love the idea of the shape of this dress, it just didn't work for me. First off, the bodice was incredibly tight to the point where it was tough to breathe. I think I could have dealt with it if it was for a low activity event but I was planning to go out dancing. I would not recommend this for any ladies with an ample chest. Second, the spot where the skirt meets the bodice didn't quite hit me in the right place. Rather than looking like a cute, flirty skirt, it hit right where my hips start, making my hips look huge! I'm a bit curvy but the skirt made it look like my hips were a mile wide. Perhaps this would be better on someone who has more of a straight an narrow body that wants to look curvier? Finally, the fabric was pretty heavy. This would be good for a fall or winter event, definitely not summer. Overall, I think it's a beautiful dress but just not for every body type.

I wore this out to go dancing for my birthday party and I LOVED it. I actually ended up with this dress when a different dress I originally rented ended up being far too short and had a small tear. I asked the ever fantastic RTR stylist, Madison, for help finding a different dress and she recommended this one. She was right on the money! It's perfect for summer because the fabric is very light weight. Some people mentioned that they wore a slip under it because it could be sort of see through but I didn't have that problem, maybe because I only wore it at night. This dress is very comfortable and has a flattering cut. It really emphasized my smaller waist and made me feel beautiful. I was a little nervous that it would be too short as well (I'm 6ft tall) but it was the perfect length to achieve sexy without being uncomfortably short. Finally, the color is gorgeous. I paired the dress with the Oscar de la Renta Large Crystal Drop earring in indigo and leopard print pumps (when else am I going to wear them!?). I received compliments all night long (even from my ex-boyfriend!). Fantastic, highly recommend this dress.

I absolutely LOVED these earrings! I wore them for my birthday celebration with the Rebecca Taylor Teal Rosette Tie Dress. It looked fantastic and I received a ton of compliments. The color is GORGEOUS. I highly recommend them. As other people noted, these earrings are BIG and HEAVY. They're also clip-ons so they have a tendency to hurt after a while. My ears aren't pierced so I'm used to the pain of clip ons and it wasn't really a problem for me.

I rented this dress for my vet school social and it was perfect! Just like everyone else has said, this dress was AMAZING! I felt beautiful and had so much fun. The lace is so beautiful, especially the back and I received compliments ALL night long. I rented both the L and the XL and both fit very well. In the picture, I'm wearing the L (just trying on the dresses in my bathroom) but I ended up wearing the XL to the social because I'm 6ft tall and I thought the XL might give me a little more material to cover up. It was definitely a SHORT dress but I'm comfortable with that so it was okay with me. Normally I would wear spanx but it was totally unnecessary. This dress was surprisingly comfortable too! The only complaint I had was that I was terrified that I was going to rip the lace as I was putting it on but everything turned out great. I was sad to send it back, it is such a fantastic dress! So pleased with RTR, can't wait to do it again! My only regret is that I forgot to take pictures of the final outfit! Agh!!!
