I paired this with a denim shirt for a more casual party, and it looked great. True to size, and very cute worn at the waist. The material is a little more voluminous at the hips than it looks on the model, so it did make me look a little hippy, but I didn't mind. However, as other reviewers noted, the finish sticks to itself like crazy! Any time I sat down and stood back up I had to make sure I'd peeled it apart so it wouldn't ride up or look awkward.

I rented this for my 30th birthday party, and wore it similar to the model with a black t and black booties. It was really comfortable and SO fun! However, I didn't love how the ruffles don't meet in the back. The lining is nude, so there's an inch or two of visible nude lining basically all the way down the back. However, it's perfect from the front! I'm 5'3 and it hit me mid-shin, which I thought was cute but if you're short, keep that in mind!

The sheer panels above the bust mean you can't wear a bra, and I felt it was sheer too low in the back for strapless, so I just wore petals and it was great. The pleating at the bust hides anything, and the seams make it pretty supportive even without a bra.
