I looked forward this rental, because I really enjoyed a different Derek Lam Crosby item. Unfortunately, although this item fit in the waist, it was FAR too tight across the chest, and I am not exactly large-busted. Definitely order UP if you try this. It was a cute cut, but I returned mine. If I had gone up a size, the waist would have been boxy/kind of defeating the peplum effect.

Like many reviewers, I found this dress super easy to wear, comfortable & fun. I will admit - I was worried when it first arrived that some piece was missing at the waistline. The dress is made with little panels of extra fabric you tie at the waist. When mine arrived, I suppose due to cleaning, those panels were turned inward and appeared as deep pockets in the front. It appeared that the tie/piece to create the front twist was missing. Fortunately they simply needed to be pulled rightside out. I wore this several times during my rental for work and out to a couple events. Although it is Not maternity, I think you could definitely use it for that if you buy up a size. So...I did not realize how prominent the cat design was when I rented the sweater. Online it looked a muted in the overall colorful design. In person, it screams #cat - haha - but it was a fun everyday sweater nonetheless. I really loved the detail banding at the wrists. Some will say the banding at the waistline cuts you in half - just be careful about pairings. I found the sweater super itchy initially and that would fade after a few minutes of wear. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to avoid it or at least pair with a cami. I'm close to a 6 now and the M-L was not overly big, for that reason I noted it runs small (for US sizes). It is labeled with Anna Sui on the back. I did have one man holler that at me while walking in the city. He asked, "Anna Sui, Anna Sui, is that your name?" Hahahahaha #sidewalkhazards Overall, it's a fun winter option.

I rented this lightweight jacket for a weekend event -- and ended up not wearing it due to a sudden change of weather. It is cute and a nice pop of color. I read that some of the smalls were showing wear, but the one I received was still bright and nicely colored. As many of the reviews note, it is cut short, so if you are petite or high-waisted, you may really like this. I planned to pair with a long-sleeve navy top that fell a little below the jacket length. I liked it with jeans but would really like it over a little navy shift or other dress. Due to the short length, you will not get any midsection coverage -- so if you like jackets to disguise that area, this is not the one. A small had plenty of room for me to zip and layer. This may differ if you are full-chested.

I really enjoyed this blouse. I am between a 4-6 jacket and found the medium was a good fit for the peplum waist. It was not too tight but cinched in enough to give shape. I wore this twice during my rental period for casual nights out. The gold thread in the top is not SUPER sparkly but it is a nice addition to dress up a pair of dark jeans. It is relatively thin, so one night I layered it with a black cami. If you live where winter is real WINTER prepare to add a jacket.

The jacket fabric has some spandex in the weave, so I presume it is sized with an expectation of stretch. As a 6 top - the medium worked for me. The stretch has pros and cons. The arms give a nice long lean look (no boxy suit jacket here), but the stretch across the bodice is a bit odd. The fabric is relatively thin, but if you fasten the double-breasted buttons, you end up with two layers of fabric only over the tummy. The rest of the jacket is one layer elsewhere. This gives a false appearance of thickness over the stomach (not a spot I want to appear larger). This may be different if you have a large bust and balance that out. However, I anticipate a larger busted person may not love where the lapels sit (if stretched farther). I just wore the jacket unbuttoned over a black shift. Because the sleeves fit nicely, it still felt slimming. You may try a broach over the two button holes (to hold together versus overlapping) or some black ribbon may make a cool tie. I may try this for my second wear.

While I expected the cut of this jacket to be large, it was still larger than anticipated. Unless you are very busty - I would order a size down. I made it work and just secured the belt as tight as possible. It is a lot of thick fabric to gather though. Think - gathering a blanket. :-) It makes a statement. Pair with something narrow at the bottom. It was fun to wear. With a cami, I did not find the fabric overly itchy or bothersome. Great piece for work or other professional event.
