Excellent for sassy curves!
Being 55 years old and experiencing menopausal weight gain in all the unfortunate places, I wasn't excited to try finding a dress to wear to an outdoor wedding in the heat of summer. This dress was perfect! I could still feel sassy and be comfortable at the same time. Spanx made it seemless, and I received many compliments. I probably could have fit into a large, the shoulders were a bit long. Otherwise a great dress for curvy shapes!

Winter formal engagement party for my best friend, marrying for the first time at 55!
Menopausal ladies, you know how it it - you think "sure, I'll fit in this dress that I bought when I was 30 years old", and lo and behold, you can't get it zipped up all the way! I was panicking on what to wear to my best friend's formal engagement party, and Rent the Runway saved the day! There was only one size left of this dress (14), and it fit like a charm! Wonderful material, beautiful dress, it hugged all the good curves and held in the not-so-nice ones. So many compliments throughout the evening, I wore it with black satin gloves and gold sparkly strappy Stuart W. heels, husband wore a red matching bow tie, we looked great - and I felt great, too! Great dress if you are busty and have some curves.
