Runs large; same sizing as navy version
I’m not sure why the size charts list different number sizes for this color vs. the navy version, but they both fit the same (i.e., too large). Size down 1-2 depending on how you’d like it to fit. Currently 26w2 pregnant, sz 12/L pre-preg, first pregnancy for reference.

25w5 in photos, sz 12 pre-preg, first pregnancy I sized up one from my pre-pregnancy size, and it fit well at this point. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for the next size up again (16) as the baby continues to grow! Re: the material, I’d been expecting something more like leggings material, but it was not. You know that crinkly, slightly stretchy, lightweight, almost windbreaker material (but breathable)? It was like that. Like a poly blend seersucker if you will. It’s not a pro or a con to me personally, but fyi. :)

Currently 25w5 pregnant, sz 12/L pre-preg, first pregnancy. Tried the XL, and it was too big for me even now (mid-late 2nd trimester). I couldn’t figure out how to wear it in a flattering way while at this stage of pregnancy. Too long below the belly/awkward to fold the waistband, looked a bit odd pulled up all the way over the bump/below the chest (skirt didn’t flow well over the bump), and mid-bump looked the worst. The material is lightweight for hot weather, unlined, and sadly no pockets. I have an apple-shaped body when not pregnant, and I’d consider sizing down one from my usual L even then; the waistband is super stretchy and forgiving.

Not yellow, but I see how they got there
RTR describes the colors as “yellow/red,” which I didn’t find to be accurate, but I see how they got there. To my eye, the background is off-white, but maybe some might find it a bit more ivory (i.e., with yellow undertones)? The other colors are a mix of red shades, rust, and olive green; I’ve included a closeup of the pattern in my photos. Despite the floral pattern, I find the colors much more fall than spring. Not the best colors on me personally, but as always, love the HH fit. Currently 25w4 pregnant, sz 12 pre-preg, first pregnancy. Wearing XL, and my Ellie size is L (even now) for reference.

Denim waistband runs small
Sz 12 pre-preg, first pregnancy I’m only 25 weeks and could barely get the XL on because the denim waistband was so tight. The belly band above that was soft, stretchy, and fit okay at this point of my 2nd trimester. To be fair, I have an ‘apple’ shaped body to begin with, so YMMV. If you’ve tried other PB mat jeans, these also have the same hidden elastic waistband to adjust the tightness of the denim waistband (there’s a clear interior button so you can adjust the length/tightness of the elastic). It was already set to the loosest setting when I tried them on. I’d size up if you have a similar body shape to mine and/or if you’re in the 3rd trimester.

Size 12 pre-preg, first pregnancy I’m glad I tried these now because they fit perfectly atm! I probably won’t be able to wear them for long though as there isn’t much room to grow. There’s only one row of side buttons, so there’s no option to let them out more as your belly grows. The straps were also surprisingly short for maternity overalls, and I’m only 5’5” and short waisted. Get them early if you’re my size, because unfortunately with Hatch, they don’t make a fuller size range for us to size up.

HHH has spoiled me with their dresses! The smocking and fit were okay on this one (sized up for mid second trimester of pregnancy), but I still prefer the HH ones. The thin straps on this weren’t flattering on me, not to mention that they don’t allow for a regular bra. Was in decent shape for its RTR age though!

My Ellie size is L, and I’ve been wearing some XLs while pregnant (2nd trimester atm) and to account for RTR age. Even though this is a newer style, with the extra stitching across the chest, the XL was too small for this stage of my pregnancy (22-23w at the time). I’d say size up one for regular wear and size up two if you’re pregnant.

Pre-preg size 12, first pregnancy As others have said, the sizing is generous for this tee; however, at 23w pregnant, that worked in my favor! It was just long enough to do a small French tuck in my under the belly jeans. Sleeves are comfy because they’re oversized. Soft but slightly see through material due to the light color. Overall, recommend!

Doesn’t compare to Hill House
If you’re used to Hill House’s smocking, you may not like the smocking on this dress: it’s not supportive enough to wear braless if you have a larger chest, it’s too stretchy. FWIW, I also wanted to highlight that the smocking is not a rectangular band all the way around; it dips down at the sides to accommodate your arms. I tried my pre-preg sz L/12, and the fit was appropriate with room to grow. The straps, while elastic, were very wide-set on me. The ruffle part is crumpled because I’d just pulled it out of the RTR bag after delivery. The dress is fully lined. The coloring isn’t particularly flattering on me, but I think this would look great on others! So long as you also know not to expect HHH because it’s just not the same.

Pre-preg sz 12, first pregnancy Soft, comfy, and stretchy - the pregnant person’s trifecta! 🙌 The chest is double-lined, and the armholes are neither huge nor restrictive on me. The slit ended about 5-6” above my knee, which was fine for me at 5’5”. The color isn’t a true cobalt, it leans slightly purple to me irl, which I honestly prefer! I do think the sizing runs small for an XL maternity piece. I’d have room to grow a little more, but the armholes would definitely become too tight by then (the neckline and armholes don’t have much stretch).

Front of jacket is heavy
With all the pockets and buttons, the front of the jacket is heavy — heavier than the plain back half of the jacket. A lot of reviewers have already commented on the scoop neck being too low, and I think that’s exaggerated due to the weightier front. The slight drop shoulders were comfy but not flattering, especially being 20-21 weeks pregnant. Nevertheless, I did stick with my pre-pregnancy size L instead of sizing up to XL as I have been with other items. I could still button all the buttons, so the fit is definitely generous! Pre-pregnancy size 12, first pregnancy for reference.

Runs small (barely fit, couldn’t really zip), and unfortunately only goes up to XL. The metal zipper pulls are a sensory nightmare for anyone sensitive to noise/sound. It’s a two-way zipper for the main zipper (so 2 pulls), plus a zipper on each sleeve. The zipper pulls themselves clink against the attachment points (the little D-ring part), as well as the actual zippers. And in the case of the main zipper, the two pulls bump into each other if the jacket is fully unzipped. It’s too bad because it’s an otherwise cute jacket!

Maternity friendly but didn’t need to size up
19w1 in photos, sz 12 pre-preg (first preg) I’d sized up so it wouldn’t be too tight, but unfortunately, it was too big since it’s still new. Over time as it’s rented/cleaned, or if you’re further along than I was at the time, then maybe size up. Waist is elastic with decent stretch, arms were spacious, and length was fine for me at 5’5”. There was a lot of skirt fabric since I’d sized up, but in my usual size, I think it’d have been fine.

Fit well in early pregnancy; didn’t like neck
14w4 in photos, sz 12 pre-preg (first preg). Sizing was good, relaxed fit with room to move in a size up. Didn’t like the neck though: whenever I moved, it bunched up against the front of my neck, so I had to keep pulling it back down/away from my neck. The material wasn’t as soft or flowy (for lack of a better word) as I’d thought it’d be; it wasn’t stiff, but it definitely kept its shape more than not. Maybe just a tight weave? Not sure how else to describe it. Regardless, if not for the neck issue, I’d have happily worn it!

Haven’t gained any weight yet, but I’ve lost muscle and gained fat, so my body shape has definitely changed. I carry my weight in my belly to begin with, so that’s why I look further along than 14.5 weeks. I was hesitant to try these jeans when the size chart said Large = 10, but they actually fit me perfectly! I usually can’t even rent pants because they’re all for different body shapes than mine, but maybe maternity is my sweet spot! Great length on me at 5’5”, and the waistband isn’t too tight (can’t stand tight clothes in general, and all the more now with pregnancy digestive issues!). I agree with another reviewer about the seam between the waistband and jean materials not lying flat, but tucking a tank in or wearing higher underwear to cover the seam resolved it for me. Glad I tried these!

Yes, the material is thick, but still be aware of choosing the right undergarments/outfit: you can see my black leggings under the tee, as well as my purple bra. These were just try-on photos, and I wanted to show the level of translucency for others. I prefer my tees a bit looser, so I would’ve chosen XL if there’d been one. Still a bit too structured/stiff for my preference, but it’ll continue to soften with wear and age.

Obviously the quality is high, but I didn’t like the fit on me. The length was too short and the sleeves were oddly loose (noticed it a bit on the model in hindsight, and it’s noticeable in other reviewers’ photos too). LOVE this high quality piece! If the RL Bear alone isn't enough to persuade you to rent this (and, let's be honest, it is! 😘), the comfort & features will be! Currently a size 12 & rented XL for extra room, so I'd say TTS (large would've fit). Entire top is lined with a soft layer of cotton. Sizable on-seam pockets, so phones of all sizes should fit (hand for reference). The sleeves were a bit long on me, which I prefer. Loosely elasticized cuffs & bottom hem (pictured). Received new with tags! The epitome of comfort and warmth, *plus* the RL Bear? I'll be living in this one for a while! ☺️

Wish I’d sized up
Pants/jeans are always a struggle for my Apple body shape. Need a wider waist with straight hips and narrower thighs. Had been hopeful when I’d ordered that my usual size would be okay because it had a drawstring. Alas, it was difficult to button and uncomfortable to wear standing, let alone sitting. The hips and thighs were a bit wider than I personally need, so I’m hesitant to try the next size up; I don’t want it to have so much extra fabric that it looks/feels weird.
