I rented this dress with the biggest concern being the fit in the chest, based on other reviews. Since I was renting this dress for a weekend escape to Vegas with my husband, I wasn't too upset with not being able to wear a bra and showing some skin ... heck, it's Vegas. However, my biggest issue with this dress was the length. Anytime I sat down I felt like my crotch was hanging out. Fortunately there are these two flowy panels and my purse that I could use to cover up my upper thighs. However, anytime I got up from a chair, I had to immediately cover my crotch and pull the dress down as much as I could. I hate that this dress was such a disappointment. I'd probably be so much more upset if I had rented it for a wedding or other "proper" affair. But as I said before, it was Vegas. At least it looked nice when you looked at it from the side.

Not knowing how the weather would turn out, this dress was perfect for warm or cool weather. The fabric is on the heavy side so I can see where it would be extremely warm if the temps were up. But lucky for me, it turned into a cool night and the long dress kept my legs warm and covered (also great since I had knee surgery not so long ago and liked keeping my scar and flip flops (no heels for me) hidden). I was fortunate to have the opportunity to pick up the dress and try it on at the Chicago store as I read many conflicting reviews about the length. I'm a tall girl who usually wears long pants and jeans, the regular length was perfect for flip flop feet. Even with a little heel, I would go with regular. If you were wearing something more substantial, the long may work better.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos to share of my night wearing this dress, but it could be an indication of how I felt about this dress. I wore this dress to the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, because when you go to a house of magic - of course you would wear something sparkly! Too bad the dress was hard to put on because of its heavy material and the sequins kept getting sticking to my hair as I put it on. Needless to say my cute curls quickly turned into pulled frizzes. Also, the rouching on the side was just a little off leaving a bit of fabric to kind of overhang right at the underarm area causing a slight flabby fit right over my right breast. Not my favorite RTR, but as always, I'm glad to have tried something new.

I rented this dress from the RTR showroom at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. While I think I probably would have gone for a size M if they had it, this dress was seriously one of the most comfortable garments I've ever worn while also feeling (and looking - according to my husband) super HOT! I would definitely recommend this dress if you need to get dressed up, but want to feel like you are wearing yoga pants or even sweatpants. So comfy and beautiful!

I took a chance on this one after seeing such great photos from the other girls who have rented this dress and all I can say is that I hope my experience also inspires someone else to rent this dress, too. This dress was the perfect dress for an early April wedding in Chicago where you're ready for spring, but you know there is going to be a definite chill in the air. The color and the lace fabric was exactly what I was looking for. There is a bit of a stretch to the material so it definitely makes for a comfy frock. Since I was running late to get dressed, I just threw on the size 10, even though I typically where a size 8. But since the cut of this dress is a bit low in the front and I felt a little more exposed than normal, I think wearing the 10 was perfect for my comfort as well as my girls :)

I don't usually wear bright yellows or golds because I have pretty fair skin. However, I thought after a week at the beach I may have enough "glow" to pull it of. I definitely stood out, but was really glad that I tried something new. As someone who is more pear shape without much of a defined waist, I added an aqua belt to add more definition. But since I also don't have much of a chest, I needed to forgo a bra as the loose straps of the dress would have definitely revealed a bra underneath. Overall the dress fit great, but was just a bit too big on top for this "less-endowed" girl.

Honestly there are only so many things that you can't get away with for Vegas. I will say that while this wasn't one of my favorite dresses that I've worn from RTR, it was still a nice dress appropriate for ringing in the new year alongside the craps tables and some revelers at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Just wish I wasn't so self conscious about the underarms pressing in too much to leave red marks or, even worse, fat bunches.

This dress is not one of my favorite RTR dresses, however, I'm glad I took the risk and had the opportunity to rent something I wouldn't buy let alone really try on. In my opinion the dress has mixed fits. I typically wear an 8, but wore a 10 as the straps cut in a bit in the front underarm area. This did leave the rest of the dress a bit roomier in the waist and hips area, but turned out to be a good thing as it made me feel a little less self conscious for wearing a light metallic fabric with horizontal ruching. But the best thing was knowing that my husband really enjoyed the dress.

Fittingly, I wore this to my fiance's golf tournament party. Since the summer weather was a bit more on the chilly side, I felt a bit more covered up and appropriate for the event. While I dressed it up a bit with a fun necklace, you really don't need much for this dress. I will say that the size 8 was a bit snug in the waist, but the 10 would have been a bit too roomy up top. Fortunately the belt could be adjusted to provide a little more room after a nice helping of dinner and dessert.

If you are looking for a comfortable yet beautiful summer dress, then you are certainly in for a treat. This dress is perfect for those summer occasions (like a bridal shower) where you need something a little bit more than that go-to cotton dress. I received so many compliments and so will you!

I absolutely love this dress! Everyone's reviews about this dress being on the slightly roomier side is right. I usually wear an 8, but wound up wearing the back-up size 6. It fit perfect and I felt beautiful!

I wore this dress last night to my fiance's golf club's holiday party and it was a definite hit, especially with him. This dress definitely accentuated my curves without making me feel self-conscious. You feel cinched in, but not where you feel like you can't imbide in cocktail hour or dessert. For a black-tie optional party, this is a great dress when you don't want to be like everyone else who is wearing their little black dress.
