Stunner
It struck the right tone for directing Chicago the musical! Millions of compliments. The back was a stunner. And I sort of matched my two leads so we had to get this pic at the end! It IS scratchy- I wasn’t sure I could wear it all night until I put on the hose- saved me. Didn’t worry about a bra because the structure of the dress holds them up. Also, based on reviews, I did get a back up size of XS and ended up wearing it. It wasn’t that the small was too big really but it did have a couple bubbles on the hips, you can still kinda see with the XS a few but much smoother. I never wear XS anything so I would suggest getting the back up size one down from your normal. Challenging to button and tie by yourself but I did do it!

I ordered my own size and up a size. Couldn’t zip it and even if I could have, I couldn’t have moved my arms either. I do usually order up a size for something tight shouldered, because I do have thicker shoulders, but like I said go up 2 sizes. It’s a really beautiful gown.

I was going for a “curtains” look and wore this while directing The Sound of Music. I’m a little short torsoed so it wrinkled a little in the waist, but it was fine. I liked the shape.

Unique, bright and I felt cute!
I’m a curvy 5’2”, and the 8 fit great throughout waist, hips and thighs. However, the top was a little big. I used fashion tape under each armpit to keep it from sagging and it worked well. I wore 3” heels and with the slit it was just above the floor. Easy to walk in then! I felt good in it! (Wore to a charity gala)

Flattering and Comfortable!
I directed Shrek the Musical and wore this to the performances- a modest enough dress to wear as a teacher, but still really fun! Plus THE POCKETS so I always had my keys, cell and headset! Lots of compliments. I’m between a 6 and 8 so ordered both but ended up wearing the 6, so that was a boost to the ego too ☺️ At the after party I had the opportunity to change but stayed in it because it was so comfy!

I felt good in this dress but I got even better compliments than I expected!
The material is really sturdy. I am 5'2", 36B and 142lb and wore shapewear with it. The heels I wore were 2.5" and it was a tad long still but doable because of the slit. 3.5-4" heels would be better, but I hate wearing that high.
