This was a back-up gown to my original choice not being available. I rented this for engagement photos. I was REALLY surprised at the color of this dress in person. it's nothing like the model photo and is SO beautiful. I also really loved the structural details in the design. The over skirt was a tad long and I had on 4" heels, but I just picked it up when i walked. I am a 10-12 in dresses and I ordered the 12 to be safe. it was a little loose up top, but I knew I wasn't going to be doing much other than posing in it so I made due. I didn't wear a bra at all and used fashion tape to keep the top seam down and it worked perfect. For all that dress it was SUPER comfortable and could have spent more time in it.

Back-up Dress
This was a 2nd back up due to my first choice being unavailable. I didn't end up wearing it, due only to the color. It's a deep navy and I was looking for something more cobalt. However, this gown fits a little loose so size down if you get lost easily in oversized clothes. it's SOOO flattering on. I thought the material would stick to every lump and bump but it falls wonderfully and verrrrry flattering. I wanted to have a place to wear it, but I didn't. I definitely will keep this winner in mind for the future.

Easy as it gets!
I rented this dress for a dinner date out of town. I was a little nervous about the buttons all the way down, but the wrap covers almost all of them save one or two at the bottom and one or two at the top. It DEFINITELY makes the dress much more wearable when you don't have to worry about catching a button on something and having a malfunction of some kind! the first layer was a teensy bit short when I sat down, but that just meant I had to cross at the ankle and keep my napkin over my lap. I really enjoyed wearing this piece, it has great stretch to the fabric and I found that it hit me in all the right spots, the wrap disguised any tummy issues and the asymmetry made it more interesting than just another little black dress! This is my third rental from RTR and my third success!

Easy to wear stand out
This dress is effortless to wear. I had it on all day with no real comfort issues except a slight snugness across the chest. It limited my forward reach a little bit that was the only issue. I am a 36DDD and that was the only issue I had. I found the dress to be flattering without being frumpy which can happen fast when you have a large chest. It has a great uniqueness about it with the cape sleeve that kept it interesting. I wasn't planning to wear the dress with tights but the Midwest in spring is about as unpredictable as it gets. I was impressed with how easy it was to translate to a warmer option. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars was for the slight ill fit across the chest. I paired it with Alexis Sittar encrusted bib necklace for a little sparkle and it was a wonderful compliment! It also has little snap enclosures to hold your bra straps so you can wear a normal bra with it!

Wonderful statement piece!
This was a beautiful compliment to the Badgley Mishka Stormy Skies Sheath. It is a sparkely eye catcher of a ring. My only complaint is that the sizer left a sore red dent on my finger. Otherwise, it's totally gorgeous and worthy of a rent!

I am rather busty at 36DDD, my waist measures at a 35 and hips are 38in and the 12 was a little loose on me which I did not mind at all. The fabric is thick, but not heavy and very forgiving with a little bit of stretch. The sequins are not itchy at all. I wore this dress literally all day as my SO took me to a ballet matinee and then my work holiday party was that evening. I wore this dress with zero comfort issues for a solid 11 - 12 hours. I did opt to go with a Nu-Bra to keep my back strap free, but I would guess that if you took a smaller size you would have less to worry about as far as straps showing. I am just between 5'4 and 5'5 and this dress hit me right above the knee when standing. I received SO many compliments on this gown. We didn't have a chance to take a full length photo, but trust me and all the other reviewers when I say it's VERY flattering for a sheath dress especially if you might be a little conscious of your midsection. Put the hesitation out of your mind and snag this for your event. It will be a great hit!
