Fun, bold dress
I rented this for a welcome party at a Southern wedding - normally I stick to LBDs, but I thought this occasion called for a bright pattern. This dress is versatile, I wore it to a cocktail attire event but I think it could be dressed down for a casual event too. It's low in the front, but you can tie it tighter if you want. Definitely flattering on a tall person, but might be overwhelming if you're short.

I could live in this
When I first tried this on, I thought it was a little too big and flowy to be flattering. I then proceeded to wear it for literally the entire weekend that I was on vacation. It somehow worked as both a casual pool cover up and a fun, boho going out dress. Honestly, I might not send it back.

Beautiful dress, too small on top
I'm usually between 8-10 in sizing, so I rented this in an 8 and unfortunately I just couldn't quite get the zipper all the way up. The top of the dress is not stretchy at all, so if you are a C or larger I'd suggest going a size up. I loved the pattern and style of this dress so much.

Looks so much better in the photo than in real life
This dress looks so cute in the photo, but unfortunately in real life its pretty frumpy looking. The length is awkwardly long (I'm 5'11" and I found it long) and the waist is not flattering.

Pretty dress; didn't end up wearing
I liked the overall fit of this dress - I'm tall, but the length of the 8L was perfect. The top is sort of a corset, which was flattering but would probably be very uncomfortable if it was too tight. I ultimately ended up wearing another off-the-shoulder dress that gave me a little more room to wave my arms around. Also, if you're like me and couldn't figure out why a Marchesa dress retailed for $350, this is a Marchesa *bridesmaid* dress. Important distinction that was missing from the RTR description!

Great Color, Runs Large
I got so many compliments on the color of this dress - it really is perfect for a winter wedding. The dress runs pretty large - I usually wear an 8-10 and I ended up wearing the 6 and I still had a little extra room. There is a lot of extra fabric in the back, it kind of poufs out a bit - it didn't bother me at all but it might bother someone who is conscious of that sort of thing.
