I got these as a stylist surprise and while they're probably not something I would have chosen for myself, I ended up really liking them a lot. They looked trendy and were a great complement to my pencey cutout dress.

I was a bit disappointed with my first Herve experience. I'm not sure if the dress was stretched out as other reviewers have noticed or if I should have gone with the XS. I didn't feel like the dress gave me the figure flattering "suck in" that I was looking for as it wasn't particularly snug in the waist. The color and quality of the fabric were wonderful though...curious how I would have felt about the dress brand new or in a smaller size.

The dress ran VERY large (I am generally between a 4 and a 6 and a 2 was slightly loose on me). I don't think this dress would work for very petite women. The lightness of the fabric made the dress fun to dance in, but it seemed somewhat cheap and I noticed several pulls or places where it looked like the dress had been stitched. I was not able to wear a bra with the dress due to the placement of the cut outs and low neckline. However, the dress kept everything in place--no wardrobe malfunctions.

I didn't get something I would have picked myself, but the earrings (lemon lotus) I got worked great with one of the dresses. I think I would probably give the stylist surprise another shot.
