Perfect for a black tie wedding. For tall ladies (5'10" or taller), even the long size might be a little shorter than expected. Mine fell just above the ankle in the front and just above the bottom of my heel int he back, so it doesn't necessarily give the long train effect that you see in photos from shorter women. Otherwise, the fit is perfect. Sequins made my arms a bit sore from the scratching at the end of the night, but it took several hours of wearing it to get to that point. Overall, I highly recommend the dress and definitely suggest going a size down for the backup size because the material has some stretch and give to it.

Can't wear a bra with this dress, but nipples definitely show through, so be sure to get some tape or pasties. There are zippers on both sides, a belt, and a sheer layer, so it can be tricky to get on, but the total effect is definitely worth it. The one problematic part is the sheer strip across the top of the neckline -- difficult to figure out how to maneuver it so that it doesn't ride up.
