I rented this dress for a surprise birthday party for my father in July.
Fun, summery dress. The event was a mid-afternoon cocktail hour followed by buffet dinner, so I didn't need anything too formal, but wanted more than a basic sun dress as I was hosting. It is flattering without being too snug/clingy. However, for taller girls like me, it is short in the back. It is fine when standing, but I had my sister on watch when I was bending, getting out of cars, etc. The more conservative top keeps the overall look appropriate, though. I would say it runs a little large. Depending on the style, I usually order an 8 as my backup size for length and bust reasons, but I was swimming in the 8, and even had a bit of extra room in the 6, but length-wise, I think the 4 would have been way too short. Can't really go wrong with this one for a informal summer party.
