The cut of the dress made me look very wide from the front, and then add the cashier apron across the front which fanned out the middle section and it added extra widening. If the apron was meant to hide a tummy, it failed as it gave me what appeared to a huge tummy,

The picture of the slit in the back is extremely misleading. It wasn't until I was walking into the office that I felt that cool draft and started really looking behind me. At first, I thought during my commute maybe the inner lining got bunched up, pulling the dress up higher in the back, and quickly scurried into the bathroom first thing. Looking at my bare butt, in horror as this slit was a good six inches in length. So, I'm 5'8" and this dress is about six inches above the knee, yes, hello cheeks. I had to run to the local Target to purchase a pair of bike shorts, as I couldn't go home at this point. I checked the hemming carefully after reexamining the picture on the website, thinking maybe the hem came loose but seemed fine. Otherwise, the dress looks awesome on me, just be careful if you're even a tad bit tall.
