If you are tall, I would DEFINITELY size up.
The dress itself zipped up and fit like a glove. The color was gorgeous. The slip underneath, however, was so short you could see my underwear! I wanted so desperately to wear this to my daughters communion - but obviously could not. I am 5'7, 124lbs.
