Loved so much I bought (from Marine Layer)
These were full length on me. True to size - small fit perfect. I loved them from the moment I put them on and got tons of compliments everywhere I wore them. Lighter weight denim that I think will be great over multiple seasons (at least in a mild climate). I wore them with a white tank and flip flops but know they can transition to a sweater and boots in the fall/winter. Best part was I bought them on sale at Marine Layer - so check there first if you want to purchase!

Dressier style denim jacket. Boxy so size down if you want more fitted look.
I rented this for a business casual work conference and wore it everyday. Over a black tank dress, with black pants and a tank sweater and over a black floral jumpsuit. I rolled the sleeves and definitely had room. As other reviews have noted this fits boxy so you can go a size smaller. The gold buttons dress it up a bit.

Adjustable straps, pockets, not too tight around the chest, length fine for petite heights.
Fit true to size. Not too tight around the chest, which can be a problem for me. Tea length on me, which worked for the style. Had pockets and adjustable straps. I wore for a casual work event with a white denim jacket. Could also work for casual afternoon wedding, shower or dressy brunch.
