I'm usually a 4, but this particular 4 was SNUG, just barely zipped up and a bra was not an option. Color was very pretty, length was perfect with 3" heels (I'm 5'8"), and the cut was very flattering. If it was a little less tight it would've been perfect.

Loved this so much. Wore the 2R (I'm 33-28-36) and it was a tiny bit snug in the ribs and slightly roomy in the chest but no complaints! You will definitely need fashion tape to keep the straps up but it's a totally flattering neckline. Was worried from reading other reviews that the bottom would flare out too much making it too fancy for a work picnic but it was just the right amount of casual, low key & pretty. Thin material & thigh-length lining perfect for really hot weather. Would absolutely rent again--one of my favorite rentals, got lots of compliments. I've said it a million times but RTR has by far the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. I've been a long time renter and any time there has ever been an issue with anything, big or small, they have gone out of their way to prioritize me and solve the problem immediately. I have complete confidence every time I rent, and I am sure I will be a satisfied RTR customer for a very long time!

Runs a little bit large, the 4 I received had modified straps that criss crossed in the back which made it impossible to wear without the natural low-cut neckline riding up too high & just feeling really constricted. Not sure if that was the handiwork of a previous renter or just a defect, because the pictures show normal straps. The 6 was too big in the chest but the beauty of the eyelet material is that I was able to latch the hook eye to an eyelet hole to make it tighter and no one was any the wiser. I will say this material is very heavy, so I don't think I'd recommend for a very hot occasion. Even with the very minor flaws, this dress fit me like a glove and I felt sexy as hell wearing to a masquerade party. Looking forward to renting from this brand again. Also, as always, shout out to RTR customer service who has consistently gone above and beyond for me every single time I've rented from them for the past 5 years. Customer service at its finest.

Rented this for a work event. Sexy but understated. I wore the size 2, which was a tad snug in the neck and a bit too short for heels... (but my waist was swimming in a size 4) Ended up making it work with sandals instead of heels which was disappointing. Only real complaint was that the zipper stuck, and I wish there were pockets. But overall, got the job done. Great for people with a long torso. Would rent again.

Loved this jacket. Super comfortable and extremely warm! I rented because I needed something fancy to wear over my silky slip dress for my January birthday. I'd recommend this for outerwear only, as opposed to a cover-up accessory, because it's pretty thick & gets seriously hot after wearing for about 5 minutes indoors. Cute, boxy fit and the sleeves are full length, unlike in the photo. The color is a nice, subtle rosy salmon color. Good quality, didn't shed. Would rent again.

Rented for a holiday gala. Picked this gown as a VERY last minute backup dress when the other RTR gowns I ordered didn't fit the day before my event! (Kudos to the awesome customer service team that got me a new dress at the eleventh hour) Not the most comfortable dress. The Long was only a tiny bit too long (I am 5'8") w/ 4" heels but the biggest issue some may have is that you can't move your arms AT ALL up or out, and due to the metal boning, it may be hard to sit for a long time without being stabbed. Lining also bunched easily. Luckily all I did was stand all night so I didn't mind any of these things too much, but if you plan on dancing or doing lots of moving around, this is not the dress for you. Pros are that it's a pretty color, and even as snug as it fit, I had no issue with arm or back bulge which is always nice.

Rented for a gala—didn’t end up wearing it due to fit. Normally am a size 4, 34B chest, 26” waist, 34” hips. Disappointed to find this dress had really strange proportions. Fit fine in the midsection but unusually large in the chest area.... even with a strapless bra underneath (and my boobs are not THAT small!) Yet I think if I had sized down, the 2 would have been too tight in the waist due to the underlining. So unless you have a really tiny waist and larger chest, I wouldn’t recommend this one. Art Deco style neckline was just “eh”... didn’t translate as well in person as it did in pics. I’m sure it would’ve been more impressive if the chest fit better though. The color is absolutely incredible in person. Sad I couldn’t make this one work!

I've been a long time renter of RTR and this is by far my favorite rental so far. Wore it for a work dinner-cruise. Really VIBRANT red in person, you sometimes can't tell in pics. Both the 2 and the 4 fit great but I went with the 2 because it fit really secure and I knew I'd be dancing all night so I didn't want to worry about it moving around on me. I will say, the 2 was pretty snug around the waist and chest (definitely no fear of it falling down!) but the way it's designed you'd never know it how tight it was. If you're in between sizes like me, you'll probably want to size down. Length was great with 4" heels. Material is on the heavier side, so I probably wouldn't rent for a very hot/non-ventilated occasion but it was perfect for an evening boat ride. So so so happy with this rental would rent again AND purchase in 100 different colors.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous and I got so many compliments on it all night. The Small was the perfect length with and without 3-inch heels. The torso area fit pretty snug, even with my 25" small waist and 34B chest... wish it was a little roomier to have worn a push up bra, but the rest of it fit so perfect that I'd rent the Small again any day. Note that the XS is QUITE A BIT smaller, and wouldn't even come close to buttoning around my chest and ribcage, and the Long length was way too long for anyone under 5'10", in my opinion. So I would DEFINITELY recommend sizing up if you're between sizes (especially if you have boobs!) but stick with Regular length unless you're extremely tall. This was my favorite dress I've rented so far, and a simple, unique look for an upstate NY vineyard wedding.

I rented this for an outdoor birthday party, the black/floral print was love at first sight. I am 5'8" and the length of the XSR was perfect with 4" heels, and was able to comfortably wear flat sandals with it the next day, too. Very thin material, which, in 90 degree humid heat, was totally fine by me. Though I'm a full B/small C, I still wish it was a little more fitted on top... intended to keep neckline as open as possible, (paired it with a cute lace bra and long necklaces) but it is naturally baggy in the chest, so I used fashion tape and it looked okay. (There is a tiny snap to keep chest closed if you're going for a more modest look). The back was very cute, wore bra strap just a tiny bit lower on my back than usual, so it wouldn't be visible. Wrinkles very easily, but it's black so you really don't notice. LOVE the wide legs. Got lots of compliments, would definitely rent a style similar to this again.

Though I'm usually a 4-6, ordered the 2 & 4 because I was worried it would look too casual & oversized. The 2 wasn't available so I had to wear the 4, which fit great in the chest. Mine did not come with the button up shirt. I was a little disappointed upon seeing it on the hanger, but was actually pretty happy with the finished look. Nothing special up top, but great way to show off the legs. Hem not as drastically asymmetrical or fitted as in the model photo. Material is breezy but heavy duty, which is exactly what you want with a white dress. One thing that kind of turned me off is the one I was sent had obviously been worn quite a bit (which is to be expected) but the entire edge of the chiffon pleating where it attaches to the midsection was completely frayed, strings everywhere... so much so that I was second-guessing if it was supposed to have a fringe belt-look. It was an easy, pretty dress for a summer work event, and really easy to accessorize (that Rebecca Minkoff Leo Clutch is a RTR rental as well--amazing), but for the price ($90 at the time), I don't think I would rent this one again.

Rented this for a work party, which was Luau themed. True to size, fit exactly like in the picture, totally agree with other reviews about it being such a flattering fit. Spaghetti strap fell down now and then on one side, but not a big deal. Beautiful vibrant colors, got many compliments-- just what I needed for a themed party. I wore this skirt to the Opera, paired with a floral jacket (also a RTR rental), and a thin satin cami. I wore a size 4, as it was the only size option available, so no back-up. Luckily it fit like a dream! (For reference, I have a 26" waist) It does wear slightly like a drop-waist fit, in the sense that it's a little bit flat around your mid-section, and doesn't start flaring out until around your butt, which is a little deceiving from the model photo, but I didn't mind that one bit. Because of this, I can see why some reviews said it may be hard to tuck in tops without it looking bunchy, so try to pair it with a thin top and you'll have no problem. I would suggest sizing up if you aren't looking to accentuate your waist. Sat just below the rib cage and landed little below the knee on me, which I wish was a tiny bit shorter, but no big deal. Zipper was a little bit finicky, the piece had obviously been rented quite a bit before me. Color is SLIGHTLY greener than the model photo, but I'd still call it a true olive. Overall, very happy with it, and would definitely rent again!

I wore this jacket to the Opera, paired with an olive leather skirt (also a RTR rental.) The weather that day/night was about 70-80 degrees, and the jacket was very light and comfortable. I ordered both the Small and Medium. Though the Small was a tiny bit tight in the shoulders, and had a little bit more wear and tear than the mint condition Medium, the latter just wasn't as fitted on me, and as I was going for a form over function outfit, I decided to go with the Small. Lightly lined with beautiful light blue, breathable fabric. Hit just above the knee. The floral pattern is gorgeous, and really makes the faux fur wearable for a warm Spring day. Would rent again!
