Pretty for a fall formal event

This is a standard, everyday work dress. The A-line, mock-wrap style is universally flattering. It's comfortable and fit well, but it's nothing special.

Gorgeous, but didn't work for me
This dress is a showstopper. I rented two sizes: 8L and 10L. Unfortunately, the corseted top is not made for a 36C. I don't think anyone larger than a B cup could wear this dress. What a shame...it is really beautiful.

Pretty, but...
I rented this for a formal affair at a museum. From the photo, you would think that the dress would fit a curvier shape due to the flowy skirt. Unfortunately, the linking was very narrow, making the dress unwearable for me. Too bad, because it really is a beautiful dress.

Michelle Obama Moment!
This is a dress famously worn by Michelle Obama at the Democratic National Convention. It is super flattering, and stands out in a crowd--in a great way. I wore this to a gala, and no one else had anything like it. It is nicely fitted on top, and room for curves on the bottom. Received tons of compliments.

Gorgeous Color
I wore this dress to a summer dinner party at an arboretum, and it was perfect for the setting. The color is very rich, and the neckline is flattering. The skirt is volumnious, however. The fabric has a lot of body, so there was no calming it down. That could be a plus for those of us who are curvier, but it also made me feel overly large on the bottom.
