Elegant, summery, not good for high heat dance floors
The top bloused considerably on me 'cause I have a relatively short torso, but there's balance in the length of the skirt. Get a friend to help you hook the hook-and-eye that's midway up the open back--it changes the look considerably (if it didn't exist, I wouldn't have worn this dress)! Truly elegant. The high neck is striking. Be warned that if you plan to dance up a storm at an outdoor summer wedding, that same high neck will make you suffer. I paired it with pretty brown flat sandals and big silver earrings. Many compliments!

Excellent fall/winter formal event dress
Based on other comments, got the 8 & 10, thinking the 10 might fit better. Went with the 8, though, as it fit much closer to my narrow hips. Quite form fitting, this dress's structured bust allowed me to go to a wedding with lots of dancing without wearing a bra! The fabric is beautifully textured and the print is vibrant. I can't wear heels anymore, so wore with black flats, which altered the overall look a little due to the skirt being longer than an average pencil skirt. Still beautiful. Get a friend/lover to help you fasten and zip!

Comfy and versatile
Was supposed to wear to a formal-ish wedding (but I'm the kooky older cousin who can get away with slightly risqué), but the wedding was postponed due to COVID. Wore instead to a summer afternoon small family party at a vineyard and got lots of compliments! I have a wide rib cage, which made these 36Bs' side boob slightly more noticeable than I'd have liked, but the waist was fine, if a touch drapey (the small was small enough that I wouldn't have been able to eat anything). Hangs beautifully, long legs are short enough that I could wear flats without fabric pooling on the floor. A winner for a summer event of all kinds!
