I ordered this dress in my normal size, 2, but upon trying it on I found it to fit tight. I read the reviews and looked at the photos others posted and it seemed like a form-fitting dress that was still work appropriate. However, when I tried it on, it was extremely form fitting and hit about 6in above my knee which is just something I cannot wear to work.

I wore this with thigh high black boots (because it was extremely cold) to work on a casual Friday, it hits about the knee so no one could tell I had on thigh highs. It fits true to size, but overall is not a tight fitting dress. There are buttons down the front all the way, so it could be made less conservative if you wanted. Loved the pattern, it's super cute. It's a light fabric, so seemingly more suited for warmer weather. Overall, I would rent again, it's super comfy.

I wound up not wearing this dress because it just wasn't my style, nor did it fit well. I found it to fit loose over all and extremely loose at the waist. The dress itself was busy, there was a lace overlay on parts of the dress and ruffles at the bottom. It was just a lot going on at once, also, the fabric is much more summery than I had been expecting.

This dress fits true to size and hit me about 2 inches above the knee (5'5") for reference. I thought the waist was a bit short waisted. The sleeves were so fun! Although, I did have to be careful to not knock anything over when reaching for things. The only complaint I have is that the inside lining is pulling, the outside is not. Additionally, the lining isn't sewed to the outer fabric all the way to the seam, so it was a little annoying to keep pulling the lining down after using the restroom. Overall, it's a perfect dress for work in the winter.

I originally rented this for an office Christmas party, but once I received it, I realized it was the vibe I was going for and didn't wear it. However, it's a truly gorgeous dress. The red lace is under-laid with blue which is unexpected. Also, I didn't take a back photo, but the back is just lace, so you can't wear a bra with this. The mock collar and the midi length make this more cocktail or nice date night out than office party. The fit is tight to the body as dresses of this style typically are. Additionally, the lace doesn't have much stretch so if your normal size is a little tight then I would recommend going up a size for the back up because it's such a slim fit with no give.

The sheath itself fits well, it isn't too short waisted. The material of the dress is lovely and obviously high quality, it just feels luxurious. Additionally the dress is lined. However, the cut of the sleeves and how tight they fit makes it uncomfortable to wear if you have to lift your arms at all. Additionally, I found that for me it was tight across the chest area when I did the "self hug" test. I would recommend if you have smaller arms or a smaller chest.
